This beautiful Cissy Doll Rhinestone Side Drape Pink Gown is a stunning evening gown with rhinestone accents. Reproduced in the likeness of the original, this gown is created in crisp taffeta and fully lined in cotton organdy. The gown features a long form-fitting bodice attached to a full trained skirt topped with a long side draped sash. Cissy looks ready for the red carpet in this rhinestone draped dress. The dress has been created by RubieMae of Forget Me Not Dolls. This gown originally came in many colors in 1956 and is so reminiscent of this golden age of couture fashion. The dress, pictured in The Cissy Files book on page 33, came in many different colors. Although the dress is pictured with the slip underneath the gown, it IS NOT INCLUDED. The hooped half slip adds volume to the gown and is a little longer in the back to accommodate the train on the dress. The off-white taffeta slip has an elastic waist that closes with two square snaps in the back, and a deep crinoline ruffle along the lower edge. This Cissy is a painted plastic Cissy, not an infused one. Cissy has been cleaned and restrung. She has no cracks or splits. She has had repair and paint to a hip split on the left leg and a small surface crack on the inside of her left knee. She has had a reblush and a protective matte finish applied to her face. She has beautiful blue eyes and she has full lashes. She has had lash fill in on her left eye. Her head is slightly wobbly, and poses perfect. She has an updo wig that was cleaned and retied. She has earring holes. Her arms are a nice match and have no rips or tears to the vinyl. Her dress is made of pink taffeta and fully lined with white organdy. Snaps up the back with square snaps. Sparkling Swarovski crystals adorn the dress at the sleeves and on her sash. There is also a new white slip, vintage pink Cissy panties, newer nylons, and new gold shoes. She also wears pearl drop earrings and a “diamond” ring. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. No smoke and mirrors, what you see is exactly what she is. For sale is a Cissy walker by Madame Alexander dressed in the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation gown produced in 1957. The doll is in great condition, no cracks; one little mark on her left toe. Gown is tagged; there is a stain around the bottom of the gown; see pictures for condition – I haven’t tried to wash or clean it. Sash is in good shape with stones attached – crown is pulling away from plastic base, again, look at pictures to determine the condition. Her head needs tightening; it’s loose, and her left eyelashes have a small area missing. Her hairstyle has a side part and the hair could use a restyle, but seems full and all here. This is a hard to find Side partwig that was only made for one year 1957. Creamy infused complexion with high color blush eyeshadow and glossy rosy lips long beautiful full eyelashes. She is amazing, can stand on her own has no splits or cracks. I dont believe this doll was ever played with and maybe not displayed. If you have one Queen in your collection, she doesn’t get any more regal than this! This is a very hard to find vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth Coronation doll circa 1957. She has a special side part tosca wig that is only found on this doll! She is in wonderful condition and has just been refreshed at Cissy’s Secret Spa, including restringing and blush. Her hair is in its original set. Her coloring is excellent, with original blushing at hands and knees. She has original full lashes and her green eyes open and close with ease. Her stunning gold brocade, tagged, gown is fabulous and correct for this doll! She has the rare slip that was only featured for this gown as well. She has her original panties, stockings and shoes, although the elasticity is showing age as to be expected. Amazingly, she still dons her original gauntlets, bracelets, and precious crown. I’ll include a little lucite purse I made especially for the Queen. The only issue I can find is that she has a slight pinkishness around her waist, but it’s really minor. She’s very clean and free of splits and cracks. Just a beautiful, hard to find doll! My dolls are vintage and therefore not perfect and they may show signs of age. If you’ve been dreaming of that elusive, blonde bombshell of a Cissy, this is it! Just in time for Valentine’s Day? Her lustrous blonde hair is that hard to find side part wig that was only made for one year -1957- as she was once a queen! She much prefers the quiet life these days, lounging in her boudoir reading romance novels. Her hair is amazingly shiny clean, refreshed by me, with tumbles of curls with ties and original spanner bar. Her truest blue eyes, with perfect original lashes, are probably the bluest I’ve seen yet. Her creamy, infused complexion, with high color original blush, eye shadow, and glossy red lips are a sight to behold!! Her exquisite beauty is further accentuated with triple crystal drop earrings and a little engagement solitaire ring I made just for her! She’s keeps herself fit – stringing is perfect for posing beautifully in any outfit you desire. She can even stand by herself if you balance her just right! No splits or cracks that I can see! Her arm and body color still match beautifully, so she can wear those revealing outfits without a problem. She retains her original have and knee blush as well. She’ll come to you in her favorite black lace teddy, vintage seamed stockings, and vintage ruffly black high heeled sandals. Oh, and let’s not forget her flirty little boa & bling!! The only imperfection I can find is that she has a very slight indent on her upper back, which you might be able to see in the tenth photo if you really search, but it’s extremely minor. I’m picking nits here. I believe it was in the manufacturing, and is hardly noticeable. She’s just a beautiful, hard to find doll!
