Her hair is still in original net. Her earrings, nylons, shoes are 1956. Petticoat , purse, necklace & bracelet are from 1980s. All elastic is good in undies and petticoat. Her hat is a Richard Original. Her dress has a stain on the front part of sash. This beautiful Cissy Doll Rhinestone Side Drape Pink Gown is a stunning evening gown with rhinestone accents. Reproduced in the likeness of the original, this gown is created in crisp taffeta and fully lined in cotton organdy. The gown features a long form-fitting bodice attached to a full trained skirt topped with a long side draped sash. Cissy looks ready for the red carpet in this rhinestone draped dress. The dress has been created by RubieMae of Forget Me Not Dolls. This gown originally came in many colors in 1956 and is so reminiscent of this golden age of couture fashion. The dress, pictured in The Cissy Files book on page 33, came in many different colors. Although the dress is pictured with the slip underneath the gown, it IS NOT INCLUDED. The hooped half slip adds volume to the gown and is a little longer in the back to accommodate the train on the dress. The off-white taffeta slip has an elastic waist that closes with two square snaps in the back, and a deep crinoline ruffle along the lower edge. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Original Deluxe Reading Candy chiffon dress embellished with. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched honey blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair is swept over the part in the center, curls in the back. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s dress by Deluxe Reading in coral chiffon with and attached net petticoat and. With prong set rhinestones. Underneath she has ivory satin panties and black high heels with elastic straps and rhinestone buckles on the toes. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition, there is a very small darker spot on the hem of the dress, normal vintage flaws, no noticeable damage. Don’t you deserve a vintage CISSY doll for your special holiday GIFT… Just waiting for you to dress her in holiday glamour! She is NOT perfect nor mint but in very nice vintage condition. There are some minor reddish marks on her back and you may need to do some minor cleaning here and there… Nothing major at all. Cissy has a fancy hairstyle with some flyaways. There is a gap in the hair on left side of her head and you can see the wig fabric… Maybe the hair can be moved towards the center to close the gap. I added a better close-up picture of this flaw. Her eyes are green and not bright as they originally were. She has nice brows, cheek and lip color. Her stringing appears to be fine and her legs may be a walker-type… Her head has a tendency to move back down if you move it up. I do not notice any particular splits or cracks in neck, legs, and knees but her left outer knee shows a slight seam flaw. Her right elbow is not perfect but works. Doll is in very nice vintage condition with no offensive odors and my home is non-smoking with no inside pets. I have tried to mention everything but please zoom pictures for more details as they are part of the description or ask questions. Cissy will be packed well in a box to protect her. Bright blue/ teal with pinkish velvet bow. Missing 1 rhinestone on front has 2 rhinestones on each sleeve. Overall it is in good shape. This is an estate find so I can not be sure on how many owners. The only real problem I see is in the shoulder area the seam is starting to come apart, and a few very small white spots that could very likely be cleaned but I’m leaving that up to the winner. Please understand that most of the items I sell are old/vintage and unless I specifically say BRAND NEW IN THE PACKAGE, expect there to be flaws, missing pieces, scratches, dings, dents, chips in paint, and more. Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY Doll Dress Yellow Sundress Rhinestone Bodice. DOLL IN PHOTOS IS NOT INCLUDED. Fits 19-20 inch doll. Missing one side of one snap in the back. Blue ribbon sash is loose on one seam, and is also very worn. Very clean, no odors. Could use some ironing. Has some fading to fabric in the front, probably from the sun. Has a couple of pin point brown stains. Other than the tiny stains, no other staining noticed. No thinning or raveling of fabric. Dress is yellow and white pinstripes. Fabric has vertical lines woven into fabric. No damage to lace collar. Revision: Lace on collar does have some damage–two little holes on the back right side, you can see the damage in the photos of the back. From the original owner (presented with Cissy doll and wardrobe for Christmas 1957), this very rare dress is in factory fresh condition. Crisp polished cotton with a sweet yet sophisticated floral print in lilac, butter yellow, spring green and white. Bodice is sprinkled with rhinestones. The item “V. Features are vivid and complete. Eyes are sparkling, true blue. Being from 1957 or 1958, Cissy is made of pre-colored vinyl, a hard plastic that gives her a beautiful, creamy glow. Her arms are flexible vinyl that match extremely well. Her legs bend and hold positions. No splits, no scratches, no repairs, no repaint, no odors. In her ears Cissy wears original rhinestone earrings. Her wig is smooth and full. The ribbon is replaced but as the same age as Cissy. Lashes are long, full, and lush. Lids are not scratched.
