Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Brunette, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged long pink ruffled tulle dress. White slip, pink horsehair hat, pink. & silver strappy high heel shoes. Pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has brunette hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The dress is tagged, it is pink net tulle in ruffled rows sprinkled with rhinestones and tiny rosette trim. She has a white taffeta slip with net flounce, pink panties, silver strappy high heels (the elastic has lost most of the stretch so they are loose) and a pink horsehair hat with the chin strap and a pink rose on the brim. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item.
