We are pleased to present… “Queen Elizabeth” II, British Coronation doll. E II R Absolutely beautiful, hard plastic, (and vinyl over-sleeve arms) 21 inch tall , Cissy, “Queen Elizabeth” coronation portrait doll , circa 1950s, (#2281) by Madame Alexander is getting quite difficult to find. She has beautiful, light brown hair in the original set with thick curls and has lovely blue, clear sleep eyes, perfect eyelashes, closed mouth and pierced ears. Her hard plastic body has the vinyl over-sleeve arms with joints at the elbows, shoulders, hips and knees as well as high-heel shaped feet and pink touches to knees. She wears her tagged: Cissy/Madame Alexander, long gold brocade , taffeta lined, Court gown with bustle train back, attached, “Order of the Garter” long blue sash with rhinestones, studded stones and pearls as well as her original lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed long nylon stockings , satin high-heeled shoes, long gloves and three original, stone studded bracelets and original ring. She needs petticoat and earrings. She wears a silver and rhinestone (replaced) crown similar to the one on page 53, Mme. Alexander Dolls 3rd edition-Mandeville. Her gown is crisp and clean although it shows a few age stains which can be dry cleaned as it’s been in storage. She has no cracks or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no fading or other marks and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. “Prince Philip” doll is not included and will be listed separately. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Blue organdy dress with flocked dots. Original finger ring, white plastic ankle strap shoes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched golden blonde wig in curls, the hair is tied at the sides, curls in the back, nice sheen, original style. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s dress of light blue organdy with flocked dots, it has mother-of-pearl buttons down the front and lace trim. The dress is finely made. Alexander but it does not have the tag, it has a square snap at the waist. The dress does have some repairs, mostly to the sleeves but shows very well. She has a cotton petticoat with a hoop, white lace panties and plastic molded white high heels with ankle straps. The hat is fabulous, original 50′s, it is made with rolled rosettes of genuine mink on a band with blue net veil and rayon ribbon ties. She has an original ring on her finger.
