Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a Madame Alexander doll that measures 18″ tall and is tagged “Fairy Queen. She is in her original outfit. This dolls has a gorgeous face with no issues. She does have crazing on both arms and the left leg (see pics). There also is some paint wear around her neck where her head rubs on the neck. Her dress has tanned from age and it is tattered (holes in the netting). She is still fabulous! Her hair looks wonderful and her eyes open and shut with no issues. Below is what I researched and found out about this doll. 14 or 18 tall, all composition jointed body, brown sleep eyes, closed mouth, blonde wig, used the. Face mold and markings, dressed in elaborate tulle gown, have found it in pink, turquoise & white, with gold braid trim on bodice, gold crown, wings on back & scepter. If it gets lost, damaged or stolen then I will do all I can to get the claim filed, etc…. Here is a Lovely HTF Cissy Pastel Pink Spring Coat from 1957 by Mad. This Coat Has Never Been on a Doll and Comes With its Original Box. There are Some Faint Spots Throughout Wich are Mostly Pictured. Most of Them are in inconspicuous places Like The Lining. I Would guess These Small faint spots are Probably from Shelf Wear. She is 15-1/2 inches tall and made of all hard plastic except for her arms, which are vinyl. She has joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles. Elise is from around 1957. She has pretty blue sleep eyes that work well, all of her brush and painted lashes, good lip color, light brows and original cheek color that is not as pink as when new. There is a hint of yellow to her face, but not that bad. Her pretty blonde wig is in its original set with spanner bar, hairpins and hairnet that has never been removed. The back of her wig could use some primping. All of her joints work well. Stringing is good except her arm band needs to be replaced. She has no breaks in her hard plastic, and her vinyl arms are in good shape. All fingers are present. She has her original earring holders and one pearl earring, which could use replacing. The holders could use some cleaning. She is a real cutie and would look superb in any original Elise costume or handmade creation. Please look at the pictures to evaluate Elise for your collection. The detail emphasizes her simple elegance as she prepares for her special wedding day! Her lips are beautiful shade of pink and cheeks still preserve a touch of their rosy glow despite her age. The skirt of her white dress is double tulle for volume. The outer layer of tulle and her veil are trimmed in a beautiful Chantilly-style lace in a scallop design. Her bodice is single layer tulle, accented with the same lace over her shoulders to a V at the front waistline. The sleeves are also single layer tulle in a mutton-chop design, which is a puff-sleeve to the elbow, then straight and tight to the wrist. Underneath is a white muslin petticoat and white satin panties; the panties are trimmed in a different white lace. Her ivory satin-textured cloth slippers have a diamond accent. On her left thigh is her garter, a pink flower with a diamond accent. The garter elastic is not loose, its perfect. She carries a bouquet of white flowers with double white satin ribbons tied in a bow at the wrist, then twisting streamers to her hem. The bouquet is actually held on with the wire cord. Her crowning glory is her veil! The headband has a single tiara band of white flowers. The tulle veil falls slightly shorter than the hem, showcasing the veil lace above the hem lace. The veil is held on with pins, as was used in the 60s before the use of elastic for the head attire.
