Vintage 1955 Mme Alexander-Kins Wendy SLW Bride Doll w/Hang Tag. Scroll down for larger views. From a doll collectors estate, this is an Alexander-Kins or Wendy Doll. She is a straight leg walker, which were made only in 1955. She is 8” high, all jointed hard plastic. She has a pretty face with original paint and ivory coloring. Plus blue sleep eyes, molded lashes, ruby lips & blushed cheeks. She wears her brunette wig. Still in the original curled set. Her body is in very good condition, clean and bright. One leg walks with head slightly turning, the other leg needs to be adjusted. Wendy wears her original TAGGED’Alexander-kins’ ivory satin bridal gown w/tatted lace on the bodice. Also original panties, taffeta petticoat, and replaced shoes. On her head is her original tulle veil with a lace cap. The outfit is clean, & bright. Just one tiny light mark under the fold of her skirt. She is an appealing little doll that has been kept in a glass cabinet for many years. She also has her original paper hang tag (no string). Rare and stunning 21 vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Queen doll. Her dress is in really nice condition and is tagged and eyes open and close properly. Her blue sash has two black marks on it and the shoes have some wear and gold foil sole is peeling on one heel, some black marks around neck joint. Her undergarment is too large and is close pinned (not sure if its original to outfit or not). One knee also doesn’t bend as well as the other. Gorgeous Vintage Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 17 Doll! She is all composition. Some crazing is present; unsure if was repainted. Her wig original mohair and is glued to her head. Her face paint is beautifully preserved but her lips might need some paint work. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working but occasionally eyes open only partially. Real upper lashes are all intact. Marked on her neck MME Alexander. Wendy Ann comes with her original bridal gown, stockings, flower bouquet. Not sure if veil os original but is definitely vintage. One of her shoes is missing part of the dole/heel. Some and stains holes to outfits. Please refer to pictures. Additional photos could be provided upon request. I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1930s attic fresh set of Dionne Quintuplet 7 dolls. Unmarked as far as I can see , possibly made by Madame Alexander but not sure either way. Not sure if the clothes is original or made later, I tend to think its the latter. The dolls have some age / storage related imperfections as with many dolls of this era that were stored in old attics and such. The outside layer of material has some cracks , chips, losses. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE.
