Vintage Madame Alexander Caroline Kennedy Doll 14 ALL ORIGINAL

This little gal, who was short lived in production, is in her entirely original dress, shoes, socks, underwear, underdress, and bow. When I found her, she had the original hairnet around her face but it was disintegrating so it was removed. Her bow is factory pinned. Though she was likely never played with, time has aged her outfit: there is rust on the buttons of her underdress, the elastic is gone on her underwear, her dress is faded and not vibrant, her bow has foxing from the hairnet, and there are traces of foxing on her outfit and shoes. Her original hang tag is also faded but you can still make out Caroline. Her hair is perfect and not missing any plugs. There is a small mark on her back. She holds her poses and limbs are tight. Within the community there are many who are apprehensive or skeptical of antique dealers, while most of us are simply trying to run a small business or fund our own collections. Once you are a dealer, you will understand that this community is small and most long-timers don’t intentionally harm buyers. And it is a JOB. I recycle and upcycle boxes and materials as much as possible. I ask that you contact me with any issues you may have. Collecting should always be fun and I love to make relationships with my buyers. I once had to accept a return from someone new to antique doll collecting because they didn’t realize kid leather arms don’t hold poses.
