Vintage Authentic Original 1958 “Edith the Lonely” 15-inch Collectible Doll. This is an adorable doll with a very pretty face, full lashes on brown eyes that open and close as they should, rooted blonde styled hair in original set, wearing her original pink gingham dress as well as her original underwear, underskirt, tights and white laced shoes. She is jointed at the waist, neck, shoulders and hips. She is stamped on the back of her neck and the pink gingham dress is tagged. Does not have the original box, wrist tag or book and is missing the original white apron. She c omes from a smoke free home. Her clothes are a little dirty and her shoe soles need the cobbler, but she looks really great… Her hair needs work – it has flattened in the back from so many decades in storage. This lovely Cissette bride doll is 10 tall. She is made of plastic with socket head, adult-lady shape torso, jointing at hips, knees and shoulders. High-heel shaped feet, green sleep eyes, reddish-blonde hair with curly bangs and flip curls. She wears a tulle gown with three tiered of narrow lace ruffles on the bodice to match ruffles on skirt hem and cuffs, V-shaped satin sash, tulle underskirt, organdy petticoat, panties, stockings, silver sling heels, wide coronet of pink and white flowers to match bridal bouquet, tulle veil, pearl earrings, and a “diamond” ring. Her earrings are tarnished/discolored, and her dress and veil is yellowed. Her cheeks are beautifully rosy. Please enlarge photos to see condition.
