VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND. MADAME ALEXANDER 1936 NURSE YVONNE LEROUX DOLL. NURSE LEROUX WAS CHOSEN TO CARE FOR THE DIONNE QUINTUPLETS BY THEIR OBSTETRICIAN DR. ALLAN ROY DAFOE, AND DID SO FOR THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF THEIR LIVES. MADAME ALEXANDER MADE THIS DOLL AS WELL AS A DR. DAFOE DOLL TO ACCOMPANY THE DIONNE QUINTUPLETS SET. SHE WAS CRAFTED WITH A 1935 BETTY FACE AND SHE STANDS 13 TALL. SHE IS ALL COMPOSITION WITH A JOINTED BODY AT THE NECK, SHOULDERS, AND HIPS. SHE HAS SLEEP EYES AND A MOHAIR WIG. SHE IS MISSING HER NURSES HAT. HER NURSES OUTFIT IS ORIGINAL TO HER HAIR NEEDS TO BE SET, AND SHE NEEDS TO BE RE-STRUNG AT SOME POINT. This is a 21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. Dana BUCHMAN Cissy from American Design Series. Comes with original box, hangtag and certificate. Accessories still in sealed bags.
