Vintage 1957Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Red hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged toreador pant set with rare yellow top and belt. Pillbox hat with velvet flowers and veil. Black velvet high heels shoes. Pearl drop earrings and necklace. Presented here is a fabulous 1957 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has red hair. With a trople stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls, smooth with a nice sheen. The blue eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, original high coloring. She has pierced ears with pearl drop. Earrings and wired necklace. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged toreador pant set, black velvet pants with yellow shirt and yellow taffeta belt. Both the pants and top are tagged, excellent vintage condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears. The set with yellow is very rare, this is usually seen with a lace jacket and pink belt. Her high heel shoes are black velvet, clear heels. The yellow pillbox hat is adorned with flocked flowers, it has yellow-green veil and a hat pin. Fabulous, hard to find outfit, stunning doll! She is in good condition, but may need some cleaning. She has a brownish color wig (still has bobby pins where the previous owner redid her hair style), sleep blue eyes, hair lashes (all present), rosy cheeks, red mouth. She is all hard plastic with joints at her elbows and wrists and at her knees. She is wearing a tagged purple coat, purple velvet purple hat, tagged pinkish dress, matching panties, net slip, knee high hosery, velvet center snap purple shoes. When you move her legs, her head moves. I don’t see any cracks, but she does have a few small scratches. She does have a very light odor. Not for the mint collector. I try to make sure my items do not have loud offensive odors, but your nose may be more sensitive than mine.
