Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Redhead wig, in original style. Tagged pink and white stripped dress/ minty condition with crisp tag. Fabulous vintage hat with pink silk flowers. Madame Alexander black strappy high heels. Taffeta full petticoat and panties. STAND IS NOT INCLUDED. Presented here is a stunning vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Her red hair is in the original style. Sparkling blue-green eyes, thick hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has a gorgeous glowing face, lovely. Coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with pearl. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original Cissy tagged dress; pink and white stripe cotton with full circle skirt, black velvet bow at the neck, buttons in the front and a black satin sash. No damage to the clothing; clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears, no orders, very crisp body, minty, crisp tag. Underneath she wears a full taffeta petticoat with tulle ruffle and taffeta panties, plus original back seamed stockings (a few mends in the stockings only). Her hat is vintage, laden with pink silk and velvet flowers, it has a milk-glass tip hat pin, absolutely fabulous. Cissy carries a vintage genuine Madame Alexander hat box. The shoes are strappy high heels with metallic gold heels and black flocked straps. She is accompanied by her adorable black and white faux fur puppy on a gold chain leash with pink bow, collar and gold bell. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only, NO STAND. The set includes 2 eight inch dolls, scarlett and her nanny. They each have a 75 anniversary wrist tag. They come with an official collector registration card. They have open/close eyes with molded eye lashes. They have straight legs. Scarlett has her green bar-b-que dress. Both the dolls and their clothes are in excellent conditon. Their box is in good condition. There is wear to the edges and corners, scuffing on the lid and back. There is some loss of the surface paper on the lid. MADAME ALEXANDER – MADCC DOLL “MARIACHI CISSETTE” The Mariachi Cissette doll made her debut at the MADCC Cinco De Mayo Friendship Luncheon in Fort Worth, Texas in 2004. She is a limited edition doll of 250 manufactured. She is considered to be a very rare doll. This beautiful, dark haired, Mexican senorita stands 10 tall in her 3 piece toreador ensemble. Her black, high-waisted, A-line skirt, which snaps in the back, is designed with a white diamond stitched pattern on each side and around the waist. Her bolero style jacket is accented with matching diamond stitch pattern along the sides of her sleeves. Beneath her jacket, she wears a white, sleeveless, tuxedo style shirt trimmed with ruffles, centered tiny black buttons and polished off with a red ribbon bow-tie. Her lovely black hair is upswept with overflowing curls and circled with small loop curls. She has beautiful dark brown eyes, red rosy cheeks and lips. Completing her ensemble is her fabulous wide brimmed, black felt sombrero with a gold woven design and her high heeled ankle boots and glistening pantyhose. Mariachi Cissette is new in her original (but partial box). The lid of original box is missing.
