20 1950S Madame Alexander Hard Plastic Cissy Doll. This doll is 20 tall and is marked Alexander on the back of the head. The head is loose. The rubber band that is holding it in place is stretched out and cracked, but The head is still attached. The arms and legs are not loose and hold a pose. The cheeks have lost their color. Everything looks clean and nice and there are no splits or breaks in the plastic. The green sleep eyes work well and the eyelashes are present as well. The hair is mostly in its original set, but is a bit flat in the back. Her fingers are dirty, but it should clean off easily. The taffeta dress shes wearing also looks very nice, but it is missing a bouquet of flowers that pins onto the front, as well as a ribbon sash that goes around the waist. It it is a little bit wrinkled and has a couple of pinholes from where The bouquet was attached. Its also slightly dirty from storage. The pantyhose that she is wearing look really good but they have a couple of tiny holes in the toes. One of the shoes has one strap that has a broken adjustment peg. The other peg still works. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, vintage 1958 to 1962 Elise 15 doll wearing her stunning untagged swiss polka dot dress and lovely hat. She is from a pet and smoke free home and free of odors. Her face is a lovely and even tone with lightly blushed cheeks. Her lips are full and unfaded. Her hair is a magnificent rich and thick strawberry blonde color with a pretty upturned curl. She is very close to the factory condition. –She was restrung. Her priginal elastic bands were removed, and they were replaced with new elastic cording. Her head is securely attached, and it does not droop, but it is not quite as tight as when she was fresh out of the factory. Her arms and legs are well attached, and her arms pose nicely. Her eyelashes are intact and undamaged; however, she may be missing a lash on her left eye near the nose side. Her right eyebrow is nice, dark, and distinct. Her left eyebrow is minorly faded on the ear side. — —- She is a vision of beauty. The condition of her body and limbs is very clean and displayable. Her legs have no cracks or open seams. They both bend at the knee very nicely. Her jointed softer vinyl arms are very clean and pretty. Her unclouded eyes are stunning and bright. Her sleep eyes open and close as they should. — ——This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to very displayable as you can find for a 60 year-old doll. — —You can see that her untagged dress is in pretty and very displayable condition. It is free of snags, holes, or thinning. I do see some noticeable fading on the front bodice and the top half of the skirt. Madame Alexander 1950s vintage 20 21 Cissy doll in Queen Elizabeth Gown. Please look at pictures for condition. Her gown has one small tear at the front of the dress (see last picture). The snaps on the back work fine. The blue side sash is nicely attached to the mid-bodice of her dress but does have some discoloration (see pictures), and her glove (one glove only) has a couple of stains. She has both pantyhose, but there are a couple of snags/runs, and a small hole. She also has both shoes, but the elastic doesn’t hold anymore. All her joints are working fine. She does have one scratch/line on one of her inner legs (NOT cracked or broken). The doll has no cracks, splits, odors, stains or repairs. Minimal inner leg and neck rubs. Newly restrung to head and arms. Beautiful blue eyes with full original lashes. The lids have some slight rubs. Some blush and a matte finish was added to her face. Nice arms with no breaks in the sockets. There is a small pin head size black dot on her upper right arm. Her legs are tight. Clean with no cuts or bald areas. Has a new spanner bar. The outfit consists of the coat with scarf (replaced), dress, newly made pleated lace slip, pink Cissy panties with some repairs in the front, and gold replaced shoes with great elastic, and new nylons. The coat and dress appear to have been cleaned at one time. Dress has some stains here and there but nothing too glaring, and of course, they are hidden under the coat. Here’s an enchanting vintage Madame Alexander Cissette doll from the 1950s. She comes wearing a lovely tagged Madame Alexander Cissette Melinda gown which is from 1969. She also comes wearing her original crinoline, panties, hose, replacement high heel shoes, vintage straw hat and vintage beaded choker necklace. Shoes have pretty little rhinestones. Her dress is gorgeous with layers of pink ruffled lace and a flower with pink satin ribbon at the waist. Ties in a bow at the back. The sash has a faint spot on it but is easily hidden when the sash is tied in a bow. I added the beautiful 1950s vintage hat. It’s not original to the outfit but looks very lovely with the gown. All of her clothes and accessories are in very good to excellent condition. Her lovely face is somewhat pale with lightly blushed cheeks and coral lips. Her eyes open and shut. Her brown wig is very pretty and in its original style. Her body has bent knees and is in excellent condition. Her stringing is perfect and she displays beautifully. Some of the photos show a couple of stray hairs across her face. These are just fly away hairs from her wig, not scratches. Madame Alexander 1950s vintage 20 Cissy doll Red tagged dress Jacket Hat Muff. Im not sure about fabric names. This is shiny, but sort of stiff fabric. I see two tiny pinholes. One in the bodice near a seam. One in the fold of a skirt. I only saw them when I held this to a bright light. They are very tiny. Like an actual hole made by a pin.
