Vintage 50′s high fashion Madame Alexander 20 Cissy doll in OOAK ensemble. Please view the last photo. The outfit on the right is a Christian Dior dress totally covered in flowers, and the ensemble on the left shows the same type of 50′s style with a flower encrusted bodice only. Cissy’s outfit is a two part bodice and skirt. The skirt is a full length lavender fluid charmeuse circle skirt that is fully lined with a lightweight tulle. The bodice has an inner lightweight crinoline and a cotton batiste outer shell, covered with vintage silk flowers and then lined. It snaps up the back with 3 square snaps. Under the ensemble is a full length satin 1/2 slip, a pair of Cissy panties with new elastic at waist, a pair of vintage nylons with a few small holes, and a pair of newly made lavender shoes. Please note that in the nude pictures of Cissy, you see a clear stone bracelet. It is not included, just the multicolored one. Also included is a matching hair clip made with same type flowers of the bodice and a pair of lovely purple gloves to accent her many colored flowers. Cissy herself is a show stopper! She has lovely, full long red hair that is tied up at the sides and pulled back into a long chignon. Her face has had a full spa treatment. All new painted lashes, brows, lips and blush. A matte finish/sealer was applied. She has new lashes in her gorgeous blue eyes. Her arms are nice and have no rips to the rubber. No odors or stains. No split repairs and very minimal inner thigh rubs. There is a small hairline split on the top of the right leg. So thin and not seen unless the leg is tipped out. Vintage Mid 50′s Madame Alexander Cissy. Doll in excellent condition – beautiful coloring. Medium brown hair is in original set. She is wearing a white organdy gown – puff sleeves. Bodice is trimmed with insertion lace and red ribbon with a wide red satin ribbon around waist, tying with bow in back. Gown skirt is trimmed in Val lace and tiny red roses. She carries a red satin drawstring purse and wears a beautiful white hat that is a Richard creation. A petticoat of cotton is sewn to the gown, and an additional gown is underneath this. Vintage 50′s Mme Alexander 10 Cissette White Ballerina Doll AO in Box. Scroll down for larger views. This doll is Cissette Ballerina, made by Madame Alexander in the late 50′s. She is 10” high, all hard plastic, jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips, & knees. Her face is flawless, with bright coloring, original paint, blue sleep eyes, tan brows, red lips, and rosy cheeks. She wears her goldlen-blonde original triple-stitch wig, in pristine condition. The body is also excellent, with great coloring, tight stringing, and bending knees. Alexander on her back. Cissette wears her gorgeous white ruffled net tagged tutu with satin bodice and attached panties. Decorated with pink & dark red fabric flowers, with a matching sprig in her hair. She also wears hose and pink ballet slippers, tied with satin bows. There are crystal drop earrings in her ears. Cissette comes in her original box (#823). The box is also excellent. This is a beautiful little doll, as close to mint as a 60 year old doll can be. She was obviously never played with or displayed. She is hard plastic/vinyl 20 tall and in over all bright clean original VERY GOOD condition. She has beautiful uniform coloring throughout. She has all original face paint. She has full soft pink lips, light cheek blush, blue/green sleep eyes (they are a little cloudy), thick shiny eye lashes, pale gray shadow and well defined brows. She is marked Alexander on the back of her head. She has thick shiny strawberry honey blonde hair. It falls to her shoulders in soft curls. Most of her hair is still in the original set. There are a few places that need to be coaxed back into place. I see no missing or thin plugs or cut hair. Her body looks wonderful. There are a few minuscule imperfections here and there. Please take a look at the pictures. Her limbs are tight move and will hold a pose. She has all of her beautifully sculpted fingers and toes. Wearing Original BLACK Felt suit with Velvet Flower Hat, Super Rare GLOVES!! Hose, slip (this has a couple VERY small holes and spots). The elastic is strong on panties; All made by Madame Alexander in 1950′s. I think her Face is as gorgeous as the best of the best vintage Cissy’s. I believe she is all original with absolutely no enhancements. She has such a stunning combination. Open and close eyes. Her skin tone is wonderful with no stains, no unwanted marks. Although I have not taken her panties off, (they have a great elastic waist that I want to preserve), but I have careful checked under them in all of the usual places, hip joints, crotch, knees and neck joint for seem splits or cracks and she has. Cissy’s Suit is in exceptionally wonderful condition (just the elastic is loose). Original off white satin panties with great elastic waist and lace leg trim, original back seam nylon stockings. Here today is an absolutely gorgeous vintage 16 inch Elise doll and outfits with boxes made by Madame Alexander in the 1950′s. Elise is all original with NO enhancements. She has no unwanted marks, discoloration, stains and no odors. Her shiny brunette wig is in excellent condition retaining its perfect little curls, it doesn’t appear to have ever been combed. Her face paint is beautiful and vivid with no marks or smudges, I have not cleaned her so she could use maybe a very light sponge bath to rid any dust. Elise has stunning crystal clear open and close blue eyes, full set of hair eyelashes as well as painted lover lashes, stroked brows, vivid blushed cheeks and dark coral/pink painted lips. She has all fingers and toes. Her stringing is just perfect with no loose, chipped or cracked joints. All joints including her ankles are the perfect tension. All joints function as they were made to do. The boxes are in very good condition. Im uncertain if the clothing inside of the boxes are the actual ones that coincide with the numbers on the boxes. Both untagged outfits have the pinking sheers cutting at the seems that is a characteristic of Madame Alexander clothing. The little peddle pushers have a very small and faint spot that is hardly noticeable. The rest of the clothing has no stains, no holes and no discoloring. Its sad to say but the outfits and their boxes have a slight smoke smell. Maybe with time and an airing out or possibly a laundering the smoke will dissipate. Everything as shown in the pictures are included but please note that the boxes and her outfits will be packaged in plastic so there should be no transfer of smells. Elise has only had the clothing on today for the pictures and then promptly removed. Elise is absolutely stunning that would make a lovely addition to a Madame Alexander doll collection. If it weren’t for the issue of the odor the outfits and boxes are all in excellent condition. Some pictures today were taken with a flash and others were in normal daylight. With her Fashion Academy Award, this lovely black “Cynthia” walker doll from Madame Alexander has been in in our family for many years as a member of a special aunt’s collection of beautiful dolls. She has never been played with and has been used only for display in a closed china cabinet. Her plastic body is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. Her arms are loose, and there is one very fine line, at the right side of her mouth, which I can see with a magnifying glass. Her paint/finish on her right pinky finger is chipped. Cynthia’s face is from a Madame Alexander “Margaret” mold,, and she has a beautiful facial complexion and perfect facial coloring. Her clear brown sleep eyes work properly, and her brush lashes are intact. Her pretty black hair is in the original “set, ” upswept at the front sides, curled-under bangs, and a pulled together at the back neck in a rolled curl accented with a yellow satin ribbon bow. The upswept portion is held in place by some sort of dark wire hair barrette. The back of her “do” is slightly flattened from her positioning in the china cabinet. Doll stand is not included. Technically a 15-Inch doll, this Cynthia stands 14 1/2 Inches tall, and her head turns from side to side as her legs move in a walking motion. The clothing on this doll has never been removed. She is wearing a knee-length dress of yellow cotton organdy. The dress has a scooped neckline, short puffed sleeves, a gathered waist, and a full skirt with a double gathered flounce at the bottom. The bodice is a double layer of the fabric, and the single-layer skirt is over an attached underskirt of white taffeta. The neckline, sleeves and skirt are accented with a pretty narrow white lace, and the same lace accents the underskirt. The dress closes at the back bodice with four small snaps, and a wide yellow satin ribbon sash ties in a bow at the waistline. Cynthia’s white taffeta panties close in the back with one small snap and are accented at the straight legs with a white lace. On the dress tag… A tag on the underskirt reads… Ellis Stone Greensboro, N. D97 LSL F4 94 1531 9.95. Ellis Stone was a department store in Greensboro, North Carolina, where my husband’s grandmother and two aunts shopped for dolls for their collections. The one surviving aunt is now residing in a special memory care unit. White knitted ankle socks and black “leather” Mary Janes and a yellow bow in her hair complete Cynthia’s Fashion Academy Award ensemble. Around her neck, hanging from a gold twine, is a metal/brass Fashion Academy Award medal. MADAME ALEXANDER NEW YORK KINNEY PROV. His fabulous Alexanderkin is barely 7 1/2 inches tall, the size they made them the first two years. She appears to be dressed as a southern Belle. Her hat is exquisite. She wears a strapped dress with a peplum jacket. She wears bloomers as seen in the pictures. The lace trim is delicate and in perfect condition.
