Madame Alexander Classics 8 Angel #19540 The Nativity Collection w/ Musical Crèche RARE! The doll’s eyes open and close freely. The crown/star is not attached. Doll comes with stand. The Creche has a few minor scuffs on the right side (pic #4). 18″ high x 17″ wide x 11 deep, plays silent night. There are two loops for the doll to be attached to the Creche display. The doll’s box has some fading/bends. The Creche display is very heavy. I have local pick-up available. 1960 Madame Alexander Kins Red-haired “Pink Angel”. BKW, walking mechanism works. Fair color, all original. Silver shoes with gold ties. Slight discolored spot on left side of face. This is a very rare what I believe is an Alexander-kins doll by Madame Alexander made in 1953 or 1954. The outfit is an original Madame Alexander angel outfit.. See attached photo from catalog. The doll may not be an Alexander Kin’s doll but may be a Wendy-Kins doll. Her eyes open and close when you put her down but she doesn’t seem like a walker because when I move the limbs her head doesn’t move. So this is where it is throwing me off. If you have any information regarding the exact type of doll that would be helpful. However I know that both the outfit and the doll are rare. Paradise comes to life in this angelic beauty, spectacular in an elaborate gown spun from sky-blue silk dupioni. Her gown is meticulously adorned with flowers made of fine ribbon; her lace overskirt is embellished with tiny sequins. A crown of lovely blossoms rests in her golden coiffure, and wings of snow-white feathers float behind her to complete the glorious vision. Her original box was discarded, but all contents of the box including pink tissue have been retained with her. Doll does not have a certificate of authenticity. Hang Tag says she is style 10770, Introduced 1998, Retired January 2000. Doll has bendable knees and is hard vinyl plastic, she has a twist and turn waist. Her necklace and wings and floral coiffure piece are in a plastic bag. Under her costume she wears slip, panties, hose and heels. Hair is in her original upsweep. This is a Madame Alexander 8 bend knee walker Wendy or Alexander-kins doll. She is a Maggie Angel from 1961 and her number is 618. She is in beautiful condition! The only thing I noticed in examining her closely is some small darker spots on the back of her dress. Take a look at the picture. They are really hard to see. We offer for your consideration an undisplayed, or gently displayed, Madame Alexander Kin Wendy 8 doll, from 1955, in the original box. She is a beauty and was rarely removed from her box. The original cardboard insert is included. Her box has a label Baby Angel 480.—-You can see that her box is her original box, and she has made her home in this box for many decades. Her sleep eyes work perfectly. This doll’s highly blushed cheeks contrast beautifully with her pale coloration. Her full unfaded lips are lovely. Her factory fresh, or close to it, hair creates a stunning beauty. — —This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for a 60 or 70 year-old doll. She does have a minor white spot in the bottom, inside part, of her right eye. I did not see it until I really scrutinized her. It looked like it was part of the natural color of her eye. — Her outfit is complete, intact, and unfaded. Her Alexander-kins tag is intact and bright. Her bright, but shows the most minor wear, halo is attached to her. Her harp is included but not attached. The fabric has become unattached from the inside of her wing. —Her walking mechanism works nicely, stiffly, as her head is turned her feet take tiny steps. Her plastic is free of any splits, issues, or blemishes. — —Her dress, slip, panties, and shoes are all crisp, clean, and displayable. The elastic on her panties have no stretch; the elastic would be crunchy if they were removed. She is tagged Alexander kin. The doll and box were stored in a cool dark room in a pet and smoke free estate and house. You can feel confident with us. — — Her clothing, hair, and body are as close to factory fresh as you can find for a vintage doll of this age. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. Her head holds a pose beautifully. Her legs are well attached. Her arms are well connected, but they do not hold a pose. They may someday soon need restringing. — —- You can see the box is clean and mostly intact. The side shows an indent on the side. It is ripped along the two edges of the top lid. Plus, one part of the lid has a 2 rip along the top edge. It is taped across the one edge. You can see the minor edge wear along the outter edges of the lid and box. Up for sale is a gorgeous 1954 Madame Alexander-kins Guardian Angel Doll dressed in a tagged outfit. She is SLW Kins which means she is a straight leg walker. She is in excellent condition with original blonde triple stitched wig in original set, bright natural coloring with brown brows, blue eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, rosy pink cheeks and red lips no rubs. Her body is in excellent condition with arms that will hold a pose and walker works. Wendy is wearing a tagged Alex-kins Gown with wings on the back, slip, undies, kins fuzzy bottom gold shoes with her harp, halo and wrist tag. Outfit is pale pink and off white taffeta and all set to display. Halo has a small manufactures flaw and just needs a touch of gold paint or paper. Box is in fair condition.
