MADAME ALEXANDER “BLUE SKIES ANGEL”. This is a Gorgeous 8 doll wearing a cloud blue gown of satin and organdy. It is accented in silver and adorned with blue and white rhinestones. Blue ribbons, silver trim and pretty blue and white flowers decorate her skirt. She has layers of tulle underneath. Her sparkling white shimmering wings are edged in silver. Wendy’s gorgeous auburn hair is styled in a unique updo of curls accented with the same blue. Flowers as her dress along with a blue ribbon adorned with pretty rhinestones. She wears a delicate rhinestone necklace and rhinestone stud earrings. Her shoes are white soft slip-ons with a row of rhinestones across the top and they have a. Soft blue satin ribbon which ties in the back. She is a Most Elaborate and Gorgeous doll! She is the most elegant angel I have seen yet. I hate to sell her but my space is now very limited. She was made only one year! She is very hard to find and she is Mint. She has never been displayed and was only removed for her photo shoot. Her box and pink tissue are in Mint condition. This is the most darling vintage Madame Alexander Quiz-Kins doll in an Angel cherub costume. She dates to 1953-54 and is rather rare, but she is missing her legs! Her outfit is in very good condition, and the rest of her face and body are in very good condition. Her coloring is great and her push button yes no features work. This group includes a darling 1954-55 Guardian Angel, the dress and hat for Day in the Country #350, “Mambo”, Ballerina outfit with the correct head piece and two wedding dresses. The angel doll is in good condition, she has lovely all original coloring and beautiful brown hair. She is a really pretty doll but does have two flaws. She has a little color loss in one small area on her right cheek and she has a seam separation in between her legs. The seam separation does not hinder her walking or standing but it is there so I wanted to mention it. Her outfit is in very good condition with no stains, holes, tears or odors. Her wings are so darling and are a pretty pink and her plastic halo is in good condition with nice stretch to the elastic. Under her gown she has on a long slip, bloomers and foil shoes all of which are in good condition with no issues. The day in the country dress is beautiful with vibrant colors and no issues. The hat is in good condition and the flowers are beautiful but on one side where the flowers are stapled in it is a little weak. The ballerina outfit is very pretty with no issues besides the ribbon ties showing some wear. The headpiece is still in good shape with one small break to the plastic but it does not hurt the integrity of the piece and it still fits nicely on the head. The mambo dress is in good condition with really vibrant colors in the skirt and a beautiful pink shawl. The only issue is that the fuzz on the bodice has worn off, but it is covered by the shawl and does not distract in the least. Lastly the two brides dresses are in fair to good condition and could look great with a little restoration. All together this is a nice lot and beautiful doll that is sure to please.
