1950s madame Alexander Margot ballerina doll in near mint condition. Small tear in part of right arm tulle sleeve and a few holes at the top of the left leg hose. You can see some wig glue on the back of her neck/behind ears area.
This is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander hard plastic Nina Ballerina doll. She measures just over 17 inches and shows minor wear. This doll still wears her original hang tag. The dress is very clean and has some tears in the gold rick rack trim. There are some chalky areas on the skin surface. This doll would be a special addition to a collection.
From an estate, this doll was stored with other MA dolls in an old Marshall Fields box probably for 50 years or so. Her outfit is all original but the panties and they show wear and are pinned in back. Tutu is tagged, with the MA name, see photo, but no doll name. Her eyes are not perfectly clear. I’m guessing they are brown. She was quite dirty, so I wiped her down gently. She has some very light spotting on her that did not come off all the way on her face. It is very light, so check out the pictures and enlarge them. I took many pics. She has a slight odor to her probably from storage and/or the old plastic aging. Her hair is in the original set and has the original flowers and metal holder in place. Her lashes are full as are her lipstick, but lashes are fainted. The wig looks great, but lifting on the sides some. Her nylons are original but have some tears, holes, but can’t really tell on her. Shoes are original with ties, but show some light wear. Tutu has discolored on the top portion and could use some pressing. I lightly pressed but hard to press the top with the sequins. I would add something where the sequins are to avoid further scratches, maybe even some tape. Her walker still works and she has the original netting still on her head. This doll is approx. 70 years old and she has slight surface some slight/light wear being pre-owned and stored away. Her clothes fit nicely and are in nice shape, with a tiny black dot on the dress near the hemline. Overall beautiful doll for her 70 plus years. I tems are used and. My camera may show the photo a little lighter or darker than the actual item, so please be aware of this and ask questions as needed. Please put the items in your cart to avoid confusion.
Here is the beautiful 18 Giselle, this is a very rare doll from Madame Alexander. She is in beautiful condition except she has to be restrung. Her torso has gone away from her hips. I don’t do any of that work anymore because of my arthritis most Doll collectors know how to do it, if not, there are many people out there who repair and restring dolls. She comes in her original box, has her flower bouquet and her tags. Her clothing and hair and everything is beautiful, clean and lovely. Like I said, she just needs to be RESTRUNG.
9 tall, original outfit and shoes. Includes box (damaged and with crayon marks on interior). Box denotes brown hair, but has a red cast. Stocking was torn and repaired. Earrings are not original. Smoke free – one dog household.

This is simply a lovely example of Madame’s iconic KAREN BALLERINA. She has had no repaint and has very minor paint rubs at her joints. This doll has been well-cared for her 76 years. Her hair is a pale blonde saran, parted down the middle from her forehead to the back of her neck, pulled back tightly, with lovely braided buns coiled over her ears and a single braid across the top of her head. Her hair is adorned with blue and beige peonies – original to the doll. Her eyes are clear and hazel and her lashes are full and complete. They easily open and close. Her lower painted lashes have not faded. Her face is untouched through the years and beautiful. She has small craze lines on her body and limbs which are hard to see, but this doll is totally original and the only replacement item is the small bouquet of vintage flowers at her waist. Her tutu has become “limp” through the years, so I sewed her a powder blue tulle tutu petticoat with an MA square closure snap to give it more fullness and life. I have also applied MA square snaps to her wrist ribbons so they can detach from the skirt of her tutu, which gives her the flexibility to pose in a variety of ways. The tulle of her tutu acquired scattered holes through her 76 years, so I delicately stitched the netting on the overskirt in such a way that I hope one can hardly notice it. Her satin ballet slippers and their beige ribbons are original, as are her blue silky bloomers. She is a nice-sized beauty and deserves to be displayed. Thank you for looking, and Happy New Year to you!
