Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a lovely Elise ballerina in a beautiful blue cloud of a tutu. I would say that Elise is in near mint condition and her face is beautiful, her hair is still in its original bar and she has all of her original curls. Her ballerina tutu appears to be mint and the tulle is nice and full and kind of floats around her. Shes wearing her original rhinestone earrings and hair flower decoration. Her ballet shoes are a little worn but they are a nice pink. This is a transition Elise doll, she has a hard plastic body but her head and arms are vinyl. She has all of her lashes and overall a very beautiful doll. Shes from my personal collection she is extremely clean and has no odors. This is a very nice 1957 Madame Alexander Simple Satin Ballerina Elise doll. She wears her original tagged tutu of satin and tulle with abundant underlayers of tulle for rich fullness. There may be a few tiny holes in the tulle but if they are there, they don’t show amid all the layers. Beneath the tutu ruffles is the satin panty section. Elise wears her flower trimmed headpiece in her hair. Matching original flower swag on her tutu bodice. The flowers could use a quick steaming to reform them because they are a bit flattened from storage. Pink pantyhose with no runs and pink ribbon trimmed pink slippers. Slippers are a little dirty so could use a wipe down. No seam splits on the doll. Pretty clear blue eyes, shiny blonde hair, and round pearl earrings. Not mint but yet very nice vintage Elise doll. Vintage 50′s Mme Alexander 10 Cissette White Ballerina Doll AO in Box. Scroll down for larger views. This doll is Cissette Ballerina, made by Madame Alexander in the late 50′s. She is 10” high, all hard plastic, jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips, & knees. Her face is flawless, with bright coloring, original paint, blue sleep eyes, tan brows, red lips, and rosy cheeks. She wears her goldlen-blonde original triple-stitch wig, in pristine condition. The body is also excellent, with great coloring, tight stringing, and bending knees. Alexander on her back. Cissette wears her gorgeous white ruffled net tagged tutu with satin bodice and attached panties. Decorated with pink & dark red fabric flowers, with a matching sprig in her hair. She also wears hose and pink ballet slippers, tied with satin bows. There are crystal drop earrings in her ears. Cissette comes in her original box (#823). The box is also excellent. This is a beautiful little doll, as close to mint as a 60 year old doll can be. She was obviously never played with or displayed. She also comes wearing her original hose/tights, ballet shoes, and earrings. Her tutu is made of ivory tulle with attached satin panties. Her tutu is in very nice condition. No tears or holes or stains. Just 2 very tiny dots on the panties which are hard to see and completely hidden by the tulle skirt. The flowers on her tutu are very pretty replacements which have a vintage look. Her beautiful auburn brown wig is in its original style. Her clear blue eyes open and shut with all lashes intact. Her face color is nice with lightly blushed cheeks and coral lips. She is jointed at the arms, knees and ankles. No cracks, tears or marks. For your consideration, a beautiful 1959 Madame Alexander #1810, Elise is jointed at ankles, knees and elbows. Elise Ballerina 15 Gold cloth top with gold net tutu. She wears gold net skirt gold lame bodice that is sequin trimmed, a sequin tiara and gold ballet slippers with gold ties. Her outfit is in excellent condition as well as her slippers but the ties need repair in certain places. Her tiara’s elastic on the other hand has lost its elasticity as is common with elastic. Take a look at picture #10 her hair appears to have been trimmed, (cut) by previous owner. I took a close-up and picture 11 from a bit far.
