Madame Alexander Dolls

She has never been played with or undressed, see her perfect shoe ribbons, hairstyle and flowers, and bright white coloring of her tagged tutu and underslips. She has her original wrist string that held her wrist tag as well. Jointed hard plastic body with perfect blue sleep eyes and high facial coloring with red lips and cheeks, clothing is like new, with original Nina Ballerina Madame Alexander tag. She wears the winter white tutu with silver rickrack trim with flowers at the waist and shoulder and in her hair, pink satin ballet shoes with ribbons that have never been disturbed, and her original bloomers with snap back and attached second net slip. She has her original curls in her bangs and her hairstyle has not been disturbed. Sleep eyes open and close freely, she holds a pose well with her neck and arms. The only flaw I can see is a tiny paint rub on her upper left lip (see pictures), and the shoe ribbons have a tiny bit of fraying on the edge but still retain their factory placement. Her larger underslip also has silver rickrack trim, and her long tutu is factory-pleated and like new. She wears a little string of beads as well. I did not undress her as I don’t want to disturb her perfect outfit. Her original box still retains its Madame Alexander face label and is numbered Style 4015, checked white for color and blonde for hair and blue for eyes. Box has some light discoloration overall and some creasing along a couple of the bottom edges but is quite sturdy and has its original pink tissues inside. This rare near-mint example of this sweet doll would make a wonderful gift for the advanced collector. For your consideration, a beautiful 1959 Madame Alexander #1810, Elise is jointed at ankles, knees and elbows. Elise Ballerina 15 Gold cloth top with gold net tutu. She wears gold net skirt gold lame bodice that is sequin trimmed, a sequin tiara and gold ballet slippers with gold ties. Her outfit is in excellent condition as well as her slippers. Her tiara’s elastic on the other hand has lost its elasticity as is common with elastic. Her hair needs combing, or brushing. Please look at all of the pictures as they are part of the description. Madame Alexander 14 inch Nina ballerina, original, I think even the necklace is original but not exactly sure on that. Her hair is nice in original style but please look at the bags they seem slightly dry. Wonderful to display eyes are clear, stringing is good. For sale is this Beautiful 18 Near Mint, Madame Alexander Ballerina. Her coloring is fantastic, her eyes are blue with thick, full eyelashes, and her eyes open and close as they should. Her hair is shiny and still in original up-do. The Roses and velvety flowers in her hair are still AMAZING. She has matching flowers on her shoulder, at her waist and on her wrist as a corsage. She has her original black necklace. Her salmon pink and gold outfit is outstanding. The tag is crisp and perfect, all of the tulle is still stiff, as is the pink satin bodice, and all the gold trimming is still rather sparkly. Her matching pink satin panties are perfect. Her original shoes are lovely as well. The only real “flaw” I can see is a tiny bit of darkening of glue on a couple of the roses. MOST of the roses are GORGEOUS. This is a beautiful, Vintage, 18 Madame Alexander, hard plastic, Karen Ballerina in a tagged, very rare variation outfit. Her coloring, eyebrows, lips, blushing etc. Her mohair braids are in decent vintage condition, with some of the under strings showing through (as is often the case), and still adorned with roses. She still has her original black velvet ribbon at her neck and wrists. Her ballet dress still has it’s gold ribbon and flowers and roses attached. Her pink panties are still in fantastic condition as are her pink satin ballet slippers. I believe the tag on her dress hasn’t been washed, but does show some signs of fading in the lettering a bit from being displayed near sunlight by a previous owner. Karen Ballerina’s are somewhat rare and fairly sought after dolls, and this variation (with the pink trim around the neckline on the sleeves and at the waist) is VERY hard to find.
