Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. Stunning Red-Head/Auburn Doll Fancy Hair Style – Ready to Dress.. Heres an extremely beautiful early vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll with wonderful reddish/auburn colored hair in a fancy hair style. She has amazing blue pinwheel eyes and full lashes. Her all original face color is stunning… A wonderful complexion, red lips and pink blush. She has her original glued on Alexander diamond earrings sooooo glamourous!!! I took pics in different light to try and capture the true color of her hair but sadly, my camera is not up to snuff… The photo’s make it look dark(er) but in person, it’s much more red… As lovely as she is, she does have some minor flaws including scratches on her chest, back & feet, scuffing along the neck, some glue residue along the hairline and a professionally repaired small split on her upper left hip (which you don’t see as it’s tucked into the body cavity). Despite the minor issues, she is definitely one of my most beautiful dolls…. A huge sacrifice for me, but a huge win for another collector. I know you will love having her in your collection! THIS MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY – IS A 1957 DOLL, MY PERSONAL DOLL I GOT AS A CHILD. HEIGHT: 20 INCHES SHE HAS JOINTED SOFT VINYL ARMS, HARD-PLASTIC JOINTED LEGS AND AN INFUSED PLASTIC FACE. SHE HAS NO OPEN SEAMS, HOWEVER SHE HAS A SMALL SPLIT UP FROM THE JOINT ON ONE LEG (SEE PHOTO CLOSE UP). HEAVY BLUSH ON HANDS AND KNEES. THIS DOLL IS VERY CLEAN AND HAS BEEN STORED, WITH OCCASIONAL DISPLAYING, FOR MANY YEARS. Gorgeous exceptionally shiny red wig in original style with partial up sweep. Original bar across the crown of her head with a full head of curls at the nape of her neck. Still retains some of the original doll pins holding the curls in place. Clear blue-green eyes with full upper lashes – just a truly beautiful face – the classic red lips – all making that red hair look fabulous! She has a lovely flesh-colored matte complexion. Her skin tone on her entire body is that peachy flesh-colored tone with a lot of blushing on the arms, hands and legs highlighting and contouring her natural features. There is a slight split on the one leg. I can find nothing else on this doll to detract from the beauty she was the first day I got her! (I was a lucky little girl and knew it). She is very clean and has no odors that I can detect. Cissy will come to you in a 1956 HTF mint satin and lace corset. The corset is tagged Cissy and zips up the back. The main body of this is an ecru or beige color with the accent lace an ivory color. A small delicate pink rose at mid-cleavage is the finishing touch to this intricate design. Madame Alexander was spot on when she went for feminine with this lovely under garment. The pictures do more to describe this timeless piece than I can with words. Cissy is wearing lace-topped seamed nylons with the pretty pink mules donning cabbage roses and rhinestones. The shoes are as clean and mint as the corset. I think this doll is much prettier in person than she is in her photographs. She really makes you do a double take. Cissy wears her original pearl drop earrings. All sales are final. Her head is strung just a bit tight, but she poses nicely. Her coloring is so pretty, her brunette wig is thick, beautiful and it shines. Her eyes are sky blue and she has thick full lashes. Her chemise and gown are tagged -stockings, shoes and garter are original. Im not sure about her panties, but they are definitely vintage and work nicely under her chemise. This gorgeous Cissy would be a wonderful addition to your collection. I know I have enjoyed having her in mine. I try to describe as accurately as possible but may leave something out please look at the pictures carefully as they are the most important part of the description. Remember, this is a vintage doll over 50 plus years old, and will not be perfection, as a new doll would be. I will also be listing doll clothes and other related items. Super rare and extremely beautiful a 1959 Walt Disney Sleeping Beauty. This doll was made for only one year. She has the Elise body with the jointed ankle and the face of a golden blonde Sleeping Beauty. This doll was created to coincide with Disneys animated movie in 1959. This doll is from my personal collection she is extremely clean and has no odors! The Sleeping Beauty has her crown, necklace, Her gold Cape, her gown, her gold shoes, and her hoop slip. I believe this gown was originally blue but through the years it is changed to a lavender pink. This is very common with this fabric. She has super high color however, there is some slight discoloration around her jawlineits faint but I want to mention it. Her hair is glossy and golden with curls. There are no cracks or splits. Her nails look like they have been painted and I dont know if that is normal for this doll as Ive never seen one other than mine. Her gold lace cape does have two small holes that I have pictured. This doll is super hard to find in this condition. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. I will send extra pictures on request. This Rare Sleeping Beauty Queen is the Fairest of them All! This Cissy Queen came out circa 1962. Madame Alexander was moving production to vinyl heads with the Jacqueline face when this Queen came out. The company used up the common Cissy heads on the dolls, but towards the end they used up the remaining Sleeping Beauty heads to create this queen. This queen wears the fancy earrings found on Jaqueline Kennedy wearing the white satin coat gown. She has her original metal crown, which is very hard to come by. As they are made from pot metal and are very delicate. The crown has three metal arches with suspended rhinestones in the centers. There is one glue repair on the bottom of one of the arches on the right side. Not noticable but still wanted to mention. This Sleeping Beauty Cissy is a treasure to own, and any serious collector should have this Beauty in their collection! She truly looks like she just came off of the production floor.
