Vintage 50S Plastic Madame Alexander 18 Htf Groom Doll Margaret Face Brown Eyes. Doll(s) with Clothing/Accessories. Up for your consideration is a Madame Alexander Groom Doll. He comes to you in full Tuxedo. It is my understanding he has the rare Margaret Face with unique brown eye color and dark chocolate straight hair. He measures approximately 18 in height. His eyes open and close and he has lovely full eye lashes. There is a very minor blemish to the forehead that I can’t even get to show up in a photo, but wanted to mention regardless. He wears a white tank-style shirt and attached black pants with chain attached at the hip. Long tails, Tuxedo coat with white trim at the cuffs. Original black socks and black snap shoes. Please note, one heel is missing, but the the sole cardboard is still intact and attached to the cloth shoe. The white shirt does have some fade to the cumberbun which will lay flat when the stand is removed. Other than mentioned there are a few body scuffs from play-wear and where the stand rested against the waist, but those are all hidden beneith his dashing wardrobe. The back of the white shirt has some spots (photo). The white shirt is tagged Madame Alexander and the word “Alexander” is typed across the back of the neck on the doll. She has the Blonde Skull Cap with two spit curl bangs, updo style hair, also drawn into a cluster of curls at the nape of the neck. Sleep Brown Eyes with all lashes. All original makeup, nice blush cheeks with a flawless porcelain complexion color… And beautiful red lips. Pierced Ears with Original Rhinestone drop earrings. Lavender Afternoon gown has original tags inside. Silk Taffeta Pleated Gown (dress) has the Bolero jacket, nylon petticoat and tulle underskirt, panties, and thigh high back seamed stockings, with lavender purple high-heeled sling pumps The lavender straw hat is decorated w/ Veil with Floral trim. She still has Original Purple Rhinestone Ring, a Pearl Bracelet. Her Pearl Necklace is flaking & peeling from age? (as are most of the ones you see) ============= I cannot see any cracks or breaks in her body. Her head tilts slightly back (it may need to be adjusted in a mild restoration) Her skull cap is not glued to her head anymore, it looks like it may have been previously. She has been displayed on a stand, (stand included) so she may need a little light clean up… Her dress does have some light spots on close inspection.. Barely noticeable from a distance. Flowers in trim show wear from age and veil is pulled loose in spots in close inspection…. 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 tall Cissy doll. She is wearing a long black felt dress, matching jacket, white shirt, black high heel shoes and several layers of frilly under garments-does not appear to be an original outfit but clean and attractive. She has reddish brown hair with bright blue open and close eyes and vinyl jointed knees and elbows. The doll is vg/ex condition and has been in storage for many years. Face has some light discoloration around the nose area mostly on the cheeks. Head, arms, legs, knees and elbows still move well. Legs have some moderate soiling and discoloration as does the neck. There are noticeable areas of staining on the dress and jacket. She has light brown hair with bright blue open and close eyes and vinyl jointed knees and elbows. The doll is good condition and has been in storage for many years. Face has soiling and staining most noticeable around the nose and a spot on the forehead. Head, arms, legs, knees and elbows still move well. Legs have soiling and discoloration as does the upper chest area. Marked Alexander on the back of the head at bottom. Foreign according to country.
