Madame Alexander Vintage Elise in RARE 1958 Cabana Set Complete. Beautiful Elise in her cabana outfit. Outfit is a original 1958. Elise is in very nice condition with no cracks or splits. She has beautiful original color. I believe her shoes are original and unused. That is what the person I bought them from said. Elastic is nice and tight. Hat is a vintage doll hat. This doll is a lovely Cissette and wearing her very Mint Cabana 1958 outfit. She is a 9 Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in beautiful condition and wearing the correct Hat. She has her original auburn Wig in original set with bright Face coloring, green Eyes that open and close easily and original rhinestone Earrings. Her Body is in excellent condition and tightly strung. Both Knees bend fine. Cissette is wearing a tagged yellow cotton Sunsuit and over Skirt, fabulous condition, Nylons and original Cissette gold Shoes completes her outfit. 1957-58 Cissy, Clothes and Armoire Collection. 1957 Bright, infused plastic Cissy with brunette wig in original set. Clear Blue sleep eyes with brush lashes and red lips. No seam splits, repairs or rehab for this doll. She is in factory original condition. Spectacular rhinestone earrings and solitaire ring. Doll Condition Issues: A few tiny black dots on her face when you blow up the photos. Brown string holding the curls at her neck replaced. #2120 1957 Gold Theater Outfit is original to this doll. Golden yellow satin full skirted dress with matching swing coat. Coat lined in white. Look at how crisp her undergarments are! Panties and lace slip retain the original millinery flowers. They are not crushed or faded. Elastic waistbands are tight and still stretchy. Condition issues: Gold elastic heels are torn. Her original black tulle or net stole was missing. For a fresh look inspired by her gorgeous undergarments, I added vintage pink tulle and millinery flowers that were repurposed from a 1950s ladies hat instead of the traditional black. Nylon Nightgown and floral Robe with puff sleeves. Heels: White and pink elastic heels with lace and flowers. One shoe missing the flower. Both a bit stretched. Pink striped cotton skirt, shorts and skirt set. Skirt has crisp Tag. Condition Issues: Shorts have a tiny mark on the back. Middle Buttonhole stitching on blouse is unraveling. Cabana Skirt & Hat. Yellow cotton striped skirt, amazing straw hat with original fruit and tortoise sunglasses for the Cabana swimsuit outfit. Last outfit is handmade from a 1950s Pattern. White and red pique Capri pants outfit. Vintage Wood Wardrobe with lovely knobs. Most likely produced by Halls Lifetime Doll Furniture. Just one minor scratch to note on lower left side of left door. 2 drawers and a shelf on left side and hanging rod on the right side. Vintage wire hangers for all outfits. This is a Madame Alexander 8 doll named Wendy in a Cabana outfit (#520). She is dressed for a day at the beach or the pool! She is a bend knee hard-plastic walker doll from 1958. She is wearing a rare tagged “Alexander-kins” bathing suit with a tie-on skirt, sun hat, and darling red glasses. Her blue sandals are in perfect condition with fuzzy bottoms. In the Cissy files book, it states that this outfit is a V-neck sun suit in a new design. Instead of smocking, these sun suits are fitted through the bodice and close in back with 3 snaps. They are trimmed at the neck and leg openings with rickrack. It also states that the outfit is a boxed extra and RARE. The cabana set from 1957 states Cabana style over-skirt with self tie in front also RARE. The book also describes this hat that is very rare straw hat with fruit. It also shows a picture of this hat.
