Madame Alexander Dolls

The gown is a sleeveless formal length fitted gown with sequins and braid trim around her neckline, and the shawl is fringed on the bottom and also has sequins and braiding. The outfit is showing a little age soiling, but only when you look close. She still has her thigh high stockings and darling strappy heels with glass bead decoration, in very good condition. She has her “diamond” dangle earrings and ring, and nail polish on her fingernails. Her face paint is gorgeous and her sleep eyes work well. Her brunette flip hairdo is very nice, just a little messy in back, could probably be combed back in place. Her head is strung tight and poses well, her arms and legs are a little loose, but I have not removed her clothing to check her stringing. This is a smoke free, cat free home. Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissette as Queen Elizabeth Doll. She is wearing a tagged gold brocade gown and a blue ribbon across her upper body with few decorative elements and couple of rhinestones. Yellow half slip with lace trim underneath. No shoes, tiara, or any other accessories that this doll might have had. The dress has some brown spots caused by deteriation of the metal clasps, but they are not on the visible surface, hidden underneath. Some age-related browning to the brocade on the back, and a little hole to the lining. There is also a browning spotting on the blue ribbon, seems like it is caused by metal decor touching the fabric. The doll itself in in good vintage condition with no damage, and sleepy eyes work well. Signed Mme Alexander on her upper back. Please see all the photos for details. This is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissette who still retain all of her original vivid facial features and highly blushed cheeks. Her longer strawberry blond hair has a few fly away’s but has never been combed out. She wears a lovely tagged yellow dotted swiss dress with faux rhinestone buttons. Val lace trims the bodice and three quarter sleeve cuffs. The dress snaps down the back. The dress is in excellent condition with no soil or damage. Under her dress she wears a yellow cotton lace trimmed Madame Alexander slip and perfect taffeta lace trimmed panties and her vintage seamed hose, all in excellent condition. She also wears a pair of custom matching high heels in pastel yellow with matching elastic and cream satin insoles. While in my collection I added a little rhinestone bracelet, a custom hat with beautiful little flowers & stamens all in hues of yellow and white. All of the flowers are strictly vintage and are clean and bright. She does not have pieced ears and the little pearls I applied are on with a rubber type glue that comes right off and does no damage, and leaves no marks on the doll what so ever. The only note worthy flaw is that her eyes need a little help opening and closing. She is a stunning doll in a beautiful outfit. I have also included the little custom Haute Couture hatbox.
