Beautiful Cissy in her satin and tulle gown. Lots and lots of tulle. The back of her gown has the tiny white flowers and a satin ribbon. The entire outfit is in excellent condition with the exception of her shoes. The bottom have some wear but the heels are on tight. She has her hangtag but no COA or box. NOTE: the doll is modeling and is NOT included. I have for sale a Cissy outfit, the hard to find skirt and blouse set nicknamed the “Librarian”. The striped blouse is an excellent copy made by doll seamstress Linda Foss, may she rest in peace. The black taffeta skirt is original and tagged (my photo makes it look faded but it is nice and bright), and is in very nice condition. It maintains its color and is not turning, but could use a steaming to fix the pleats. I will include a newly made white tulle ruffle slip and undies from Dolls Dreams by Natalie. I will include replaced wide strap black shoes with red glittery insoles. I have seen the outfit with or without a contour belt and I will include one but it is matte black and in my opinion is not quite right. Thank you for looking. For your consideration is this amazing Alexander Cissy doll from 1956. She is known as the Pink Ballerina Dress and The dress is basically made out of lace and pink tulle. The dress does have all the flowers and I do not see any holes in the tulle. There is some fading in the dress-it is very hard to capture in the pictures. She really is simply breathtaking! This doll is not for the mint collector. The elastic in her panties is stretched and She comes with her nylons and shoes that I did replace the silver elastic. She has gorgeous hair and good color. She does have a split by her left knee and one on each side of her hip-you can not see those when shes standing and it does not Affect her posing. I didnt know that it was there until I really did the super in detail look. She has glued on crystal earrings to give her a little extra sparkle. She is missing some flowers in her hair but those can be easily replaced. She comes from a smoke free home and has no odors! She is ready to be your Valentine! Get something you want for Valentines Day!!! She is super sweet and wants to be your special doll! This doll comes from my personal collection and has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. The doll was made in 1956 and its in great condition for a doll 60+ years old. This Queen decided she needed to get out of her queen dress for a while and find a nice Spring outfit. She has put together a very nice suit of boucle’ wool. This wool is vintage and it has been cleaned before construction of the suit. Please see the closeup picture of the fabric. Boucle’ is known for its loopy texture, giving it a very unique presence. The suit and matching ruffled blouse are fully lined. The hat is also made from the wool and lined the same. The suit consists of the hat, suit jacket, skirt, and ruffled blouse. Cissy is also wearing a pair of newer nylon panties, vintage nylons, vintage shoes, Vintage Cissy gloves, and a pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet. Cissy herself has been thoroughly cleaned and restrung to her head and arms. She has had her wig cleaned and restyled into the Queen style. She has had lash replacement in her right eye. She has had a spa treatment of light blush and a sealer applied to protect her pretty face from fading and yellowing. She has some normal small scuffs and rubs, but nothing major. She is ready for display!! In looking at the pictures I see a hair on her forehead that looks like a scratch. It is not, it is one of those pesky hairs that jump into the picture at the wrong time :-/. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way.
