Gown of pale blue satin witha tiny pin hole 1 inch below her right hand. Matching lace is ruffled atneckline, sleeves and cascades from waist following all around the skirt. The set of, 16″ tall, “Meg, Beth, Amy & Jo”, from the storybook, ” Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is based on the literary classic. They are all early cloth Mme. Alexander (cloth tagged) dolls in very good, original condition with completely original costumes. See further description of these super rare character dolls on pages 62-69, ” Alexander’s Rag Line “, Hunter. They are all pink muslin cloth with swivel head s and molded and flocked mask faces having painted, brown or blue side-glancing eyes , painted eyelashes and eyebrows, very well shaped and painted mouths and original thick, soft red/brown or blond hair wigs. They each wear their complete, crisp organdy dress with printed designs, white ruffled organdy collar, apron, long white cotton slips with attached long pantaloons and silk hair ribbons. They have floppy limbs with mitt-type hands with separate thumbs and shaped feet including original shoes & socks. They have no damages or fading, no stains or holes. They have no moth damage and no odors as they are from a smoke free home.
