Madame Alexander Dolls

Princess Elizabeth is Madame Alexander’s 13 doll from 1937. She is wearing her entire outfit which is all original. Her hair is in its original set with barrettes on both sides of her hair and she is wearing her original crown. She is in very good shape for her age. Her dress closes at the back bodice with two buttons and the slip with attached panties requires a safety pin as a fastener on the back neckline. The dress is in very good shape but having said that it does show some wear as far as the flowers aren’t as perky and there is some light soiling near the dress hem in front… There are some mends on the dress and one of the buttons is chipped. I did not take her shoes off because I have done that with other dolls and the snaps have broken. There is a little separation at the top seam on the back of the left shoe and her sock is a little raggedy on the left foot but again I didn’t want to undo the shoe to replace a sock which is still very presentable. The label attached to her dress clearly identifies her as Princess Elizabeth. We live in a smoke-free home. This is a wonderful 1953 Strung alexanderkin wendy in a red vinyl case with assorted clothing, hats, and accessories. Wendy has no splits or discolorations. Her wig has a few flyaways. None of the clothing is tagged. It is all in nice condition except the yellow striped dress. She wears excellent top stitch shoes, alexanderkin panties, and a pretty dress with lace trim. Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplet dolls. Rare with their original swing which has the original tarp. Even more rare is that their outfits match to the swing’s tarp. All dolls are composition with painted faces. All dolls are marked Alexander. The swing is wood with cloth canopy. From the estate of a dollhouse museum / children’s charity founder. All has wear from age and being displayed. Stringing is good on all of them. Notice how they all have a little split right around their nose upper lip region, from the material and manufacture. They will clean up nicely. Tarp needs a little cleaning. One of the swing’s joints has come separated, not broken or anything like that, looks like it is because of the way it was built. Approximate measurements: all five dolls 7″: swing 17.5″ length X 12.25″ height X 8.5″ depth. Items paid for on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will not be mailed until at least Monday. 21 VINTAGE COMPOSITION MADAME ALEXANDER MADELEINE DE BAINE W/ CLOTHING. She is wearing her original tagged dress. It does show age wear. There are some holes, stains and the lace trim needs to be refastened to the neckline in the back. That all being said, it does still present well for display, I think. The doll is quite loose and should be restrung. She has full lashes and working sleep eyes, but the eyes themselves are “splattered”. She does have all over crazing as shown. There is damage to one of her fingers. The blue taffeta coat has a Madame Alexander tag, but nothing else is tagged. Please super size and view all of the photos for condition. Tough doll to find! This is a grouping of items that range from very good to just fair in condition. I will do my best to give a brief description of each of the items. “Wendy Does the Highland Fling” – Dress is beautiful but is missing gem at waist. “Shopping with Auntie” – Top Jacket hole is week and dress and jacket have some fading. “Wendy in Dude Ranch Outfit” – Pants Excellent (great tight waist), Shirt & Correct Belt Great Condition, Hat is missing the gold ribbon around the top of hat. “Wendy Loves School Dresses”- Very Good Condition No Issues. “Riding Outfit” – Pants and Top Great Condition, Hat is in Good Condition with one small hole to felt. “Wendy in Suspender Dress” – Rare outfit but…. Skirt looks played with and there was a repair to the arm seam in the back which I have shown a picture of. Great for display but has issues. “Wendy Looking Very Well Dressed” – Played with Condition and arms need to be re-elasticized. Red Dress- Very Good Played with Condition. Night Gown- Good Condition. Red Skirt- Excellent Condition and nice tight waist. Ballerina tutu- In good condition but needs flowers replaced at waist. White Rain Coat- Good Condition.
