Active Antique Dolls from a Haunted Town/House! 50s Madame Alexander Kathy wet drink baby. 30s-40s cracked porcelain sleepy baby (see photos for details). We live in a Historical Town with a lot of supernatural activities throughout the decades. From notorious haunted highway canyon where the White Witch appears that leads into historical town where the 1st Hollywood Film Embassy. Our home was built in 1903. It can be seen in Embassy Film photo taken in the 1910s (see photo). Recently, I had a experience with these two dolls. I kept hearing a muffled conversation between these two in the next room over (to my wall where I sleep). These two must find another loving home. Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll Blue Dress 1950s? Some condition issues – neck, left shoulder, left leg, hair. Clothing issues as well. Hair is glued and it looks like the glue has melted into hair. Her head tilts back when you pick her up. Also dark marks on neck. Split starting on left leg. Left shoulder plastic/rubber coming away from arm. Dress has some stains, underskirt is held on with safety pin. Please review description and pictures before purchasing. I will supply additional pictures upon request. My items are found at thrift, antique stores, garage and estate sales. I represent them to the best of my ability. This Cissy dress from 1955, has not been washed, and the fabric has nice body and vibrant color. Its only issue is “flea bits” in the organdy of the left sleeve and some scattered “flea bits” on the skirt, mainly on the right front up toward the waist. Have no idea what caused this, but this was the condition when I bought it. As with most of my Cissy dresses, this one was stored and never used by me for display. Its snaps are secure (3), and the little black velvet bows on the shoulders are in very nice condition. The tag is in excellent condition. The dress has black belt loops and probably had a belt at one time. It now has a silky satin ribbon to tie in a bow at the waist. The skirt is ultra full. The sleeve elastic has relaxed slightly, but they still have nice puff. I have photo’d the flaws. In one pic, there is a mark showing near the hem on the skirt that is actually a little crease that needs to be pressed out. The “flea bites” on the organdy sleeve are really enhanced by the camera, but do not stand out on the doll. Even with these imperfections, it is still a lovely dress to have in your Cissy’s wardrobe. If you have questions or want additional photos, please le me know. My home is non-smoking, and there are no odor issues with the dress. The Cissy doll modeling is not included. Come Have Tea with Cissy! Cissy is dressed in a rose-hued tea formal for a delightful afternoon with You! Its a bit big on her and has some minor flaws, but Cissy is clever and pinned it so it fits! Shes not going to pass up the perfect dress just because it might be a bit big. Her vintage undies are authentic to the time-period. The satin bra is very nicely and cleverly mommy-made, while her garter belt is machine made, although rather stretched in the elastic area and has aged in color over the years. Her silky thigh-high nylons are perfect with her vintage and period-authentic Cissy-styled high-heeled sandals. The elastic is relaxed over the toe area but they perfectly compliment her undies and dress. A vintage faux pearl necklace completes her beautiful ensemble. She is as ready as roses for tea! Cissys golden blond Saran wig is authentic to this time period and looks darling on her. It may be an MA original Cissy wig, but Ive had it for so long, I honestly cant authenticate it. I have woven a vintage pink satin ribbon through it and attached vintage flowers. The wig retains its original pins and is in a beautiful factory-original set. Cissys head is a Binnie that was placed upon a more modern Cissy body. Her arms are straight plastic, not vinyl, and do not bend, but her legs are jointed and do. Her clear blue eyes open and shut, she has all of her black brush lashes, although the eyelids do have rubs in the paint, and there is a nick above one eye. There is also a nick above her cute little nose. Her face paint looks good, but the cheek blush is faint and her face is pale. Please look at the photos carefully to assist you in your purchasing decision. If you need more photos, please ask. Like most of us, Cissy isnt perfect and comes with the aforementioned imperfections. She IS 70, but she looks fabulous! Would you expect her to look any less? She displays beautifully and will be a lovely addition to any Cissy collection. Cissys photographic props are not included in this listing, only Cissy and her lovely ensemble. Vintage Madame Alexander 1966 Elise Bridesmaid Doll. A stunning and hard to find version of a vintage Madame Alexander “Elise” doll. Made of hard plastic and vinyl. Wearing a bridesmaid’s dress, “pearl” earrings, necklace, dress, slip, underpants and seamed stockings, velvet bow on top of her hair, and shoes. Original dress which is tagged. Doll is marked on the back of her head with “Alexander” and “19 (c) 66″. Doll measures approximately 17 tall. Hand tag or any relevant paperwork (if she came with any) not included. Box included but may not be her original box. Condition: The doll is in excellent condition with very nice coloring on her face, clean dress, and original set hair. Her dress in a little wrinkled on the back from the way she was kept in her box for years. I do not know if the box is the original box she came in but I will include it anyways.
