These composition quintuplet dolls measure 7 tall and are well marked. It is embossed’Alexander’ on their backs and also on the backs or their necks you can see a marking. Their original clothing smells a bit musty – like they’ve been packed away for a long time. Two still has the cloth label attached to the collar. Three of the 5 have some degree of touch up paint on their faces. One doll needs her arms restrung. However, the composition is in decent condition with very slight paint wear on the backs of their legs. No cracking or breaks, or missing fingers. Very cute clothing – each in a different color. The two in dresses also have slips underneath. Amazing they all stayed together over the years. I believe these are in the early 1940s or older. FREE scheduling, supersized images and templates. These are the Dionne Quintuplets, born in 1934 in Canada. This is a 75th Anniversary set by Madame Alexander in 1998. It includes all 5 dolls plus plus plus carousel no umbrella. For your pleasure, a set of MADAME ALEXANDER DIONNE QUINTs 75TH ANNIVERSARY SET WITH CAROUSEL. Check out the photos of these dolls. They are in excellent condition with all of the tags and name plates. It comes with the Carousel but is missing the umbrella. Maybe you have an extra one. I do not have any of the boxes either. What’s pictured is what you will receive. The carousel has the ball bearings on the bottom so you just give it a push and it turns. The benches have the names of each Dionne Quintuplet on the side. From the estate of a dollhouse museum / children’s charity founder. The composition on all the dolls is good condition. Face paint is good. Appears to be original pillow and cushion on the bed. No repairs or restorations. Clothing all has slight discoloration. All has wear from age. Approximate measurements: all five dolls 7″: bed 19.75″ X 10.25″ X 5″ height at headboard. These “Dionne Quintuplet” dolls were made by Madame Alexander in the 1930′s!! They are the rare-hard to find 10 composition dolls that have the movable joints. They have the original dresses and bibs with their names-each with their own color weaved in!! The underwear and slips may also be original, but I’m not sure on that! They are marked Madame Alexander on their upper backs and “Dionne” on the back on the neck accept for Emilie-just marked Madame Alex. There are many photos of the actual quints in this book! The dolls have incurred damage, being over 80 years old!! The hair was repainted on two of them where the paint had rubbed off. Some of the heads have some cracking and crazing and there is paint loss and cracking in various areas. The stringing on each is intact!! All of their eyes still open and close! I’ll describe in detail each doll, and you can visibly see in the photos most of it. “Annette”-paint is worn off some in the back of her hair, slight crazing on her head, finger tips worn, paint off big toes and some on legs. “Cecile”-hair has been repainted, paint loss on back of head and neck and ear. Some rubs and paint off toes and fingers and nose. Vertical cracks in eye sockets. “Emilie”-pretty good shape-just a little paint off back of hair on neck, little cracking on toes. “Marie”-light surface crack on one side of face and one on top of head, crazing behind left ear, 1 crack in eye socket. “Yvonne”-has repainted hair and major crack in the head that looks repaired-it’s stable. Lots of paint loss around back of head, some on the arm, legs and toes, as well as tip of nose. Please feel free to request more pictures of any of the dolls, as I could only post 12 pics. Even though these dolls show wear from their age and have been well-loved- they are still really adorable and collectible, and are a great survival!! It’s a wooden vintage baby bed with mattress! 1930′s Original Madame Alexander 8 Toddler Dionne Quintuplets Adorable! They are marked Madame Alexander and are in very nice condition for being over 80 years old. They have some minor crazing, but all are tightly strung. One has a small crack on top of her head, but not noticeable with her bonnet on. Four of the five have the same dresses along with onesies. The fifth doll has a different style dress, which does need repair along the ruffle at the hemline. This doll did not have a onesie. All dresses are tagged Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets. It was hard to tell the color of the dresses before cleaning and once cleaned I noticed that most of the bonnets are pale pink. Four of the five have off-white center snap shoes (strap on doll with yellow outfit is damaged) and the other has a pair of MA side snap shoes. Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplet dolls. Rare with their original swing which has the original tarp. Even more rare is that their outfits match to the swing’s tarp. All dolls are composition with painted faces. All dolls are marked Alexander. The swing is wood with cloth canopy. From the estate of a dollhouse museum / children’s charity founder.
