Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Strawberry blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged pink Ballerina dress. Pink pearl drop earrings. Fancy original hair style. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has strawberry blonde. Hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls, it is in a fancy style with side curls at the face, pulled back in curls and longer length in the back, tied with a pink satin ribbon. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with pink pearl drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged pink ballerina tutu dress, it has a satin body suit and crisp net layered skirt adorned with velvet. Flowers and leaves, sprinkled with rhinestones. There are some splits in the under layer of the net but does not show unless looking thru the folds. The color is a pale creamy pink. She has a matching floral crown. Her ballet slippers are light pink rubber and she wears pink. Doll in a stunning hard to find outfit! The listing is for the doll and clothing shown, no stand included. I recently took apart a drop waist Cissy dress that was in shreds. This new dress has been created following that pattern stitch by stitch. This vintage polished cotton material has never been washed and has that sheen typical of the 1950′s style. A dress similar to this one is depicted on page 171 of the most recent Kiley book. She describes it as RARE. The pretty stripes are accented with a gross grain ribbon with a bow in the back. This dress fits Cissy like a glove, and would not work on a fuller figured doll without moving the snaps. What a perfect spring dress for Cissy. The Cissy doll is not for sale. For your consideration is this amazing Alexander Cissy doll from 1956. She is known as the Pink Ballerina Dress and The dress is basically made out of lace and pink tulle. The dress does have all the flowers and I do not see any holes in the tulle. There is some fading in the dress-it is very hard to capture in the pictures. She really is simply breathtaking! This doll is not for the mint collector. The elastic in her panties is stretched and She comes with her nylons and shoes that I did replace the silver elastic. She has gorgeous hair and good color. She does have a split by her left knee and one on each side of her hip-you can not see those when shes standing and it does not Affect her posing. I didnt know that it was there until I really did the super in detail look. She has glued on crystal earrings to give her a little extra sparkle. She is missing some flowers in her hair but those can be easily replaced. She comes from a smoke free home and has no odors! She is ready to be your Valentine! Get something you want for Valentines Day!!! She is super sweet and wants to be your special doll! This doll comes from my personal collection and has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. The doll was made in 1956 and its in great condition for a doll 60+ years old. Vintage 1955 Alexander SLW Alexander-Kin In Wendy Trousseau Dress. On her feet she is wearing her sturdy black mary janes with fuzzy bottoms with some wear to the velvet on one shoe, and nylon socks. The panties are firm around her waist but I think that they have been tightened up. This sweet doll has bright blue eyes that open and close easily, triple stitch wig, distinct brows, rosy cheeks with no rubs and a pouty mouth. When you move her legs her head turns from side to side. No odors and stored in a non-smoking home. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Beautiful Blue Bird Print Dress. Beautiful vintage tagged “Cissy” dress. Polished cotton in the most beautiful blue–sort of a blend of steel blue/and maybe a darkish aqua–hard for me to describe–not a true blue but beautiful with birds on twigs with flowers print with muted green and pink highlights of color. Wide pink ribbon at waist with faux long petal flower at left side at waist. Still a colorful print with no fading, and a great heavy sheen, does not appear to have been laundered. Short cap sleeves, fitted lined bodice and full circle skirt. The dress has 4 square snaps at the center back of the bodice, and they are all securely attached and work. The hemming on the attached full circle skirt appears to be original, not rehemmed for length, with no missing stitched areas. No holes, no stains, very nice vintage tagged Madame Alexander “Cissy” dress, some minor wrinkling from storage. All items as described and photographed to the best of my ability. Beautiful blonde Cissy in original, tagged, celery green, sheer nylon floral dress with matching hat made in 1958 by Madame Alexander. She also wears a green can-can slip of taffeta and tulle, taffeta panties trimmed with Val lace, seamed nylon hose and shoes. A stunningly beautiful doll. Condition: The doll is generally in excellent condition with no damage noted. The elastic in her shoes has relaxed and has been tied at the ankles. See pictures for best description.
