Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig. Pink and white stripe dress with self belt. Taffeta Petticoat and panties. White straw hat with pink velvet flowers, full veil, hat pins. Pink strappy high heels with flowers on the toes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig in short curls. She has green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. The eyes are beautiful with lighter green in the centers, sparkling bright. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s pink and white stripe dress with full A-line skirt, full sleeves, white cuffs and collar. The dress is not tagged, overall excellent condition, there is one tiny spot on the back of the bodice and one tiny rust spot on the skirt, hard to see either, the collar and cuffs may not be as white as they once were. She has the original taffeta slip with ruffled net flounce on the inside and out side of the hem, the elastic waist has been. The panties are matching taffeta they have repairs. The vintage hat is fabulous, white straw, shaped wide brim with pink velvet flowers and full white veil, hat pins. Adorable pink strappy high heels with rose buds on the toes, they are newer vintage. Petticoat, original strappy high heels, panties, bra. Vintage red straw hat with velvet flowers and hat pin. Pearl drop earrings and wired pearl necklace. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with one piece vinyl arms. Stitched part tosca color wig in a fancy hair styled pulled up on the sides and tied with curls in the back. Green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has pearl drop earrings and a matching pearl necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful handmade dress that is original from the 1950′s, it is one-of-a-kind but not Alexander. The dress is sheer organdy with raised flocked tiny red dots, accented with bands of red satin ribbons and puffs in the back. Is a cotton slip with lace edge. She has lace panties and a white taffeta bra with lace and a bow in front. The shoes are original Cissy, black heels with red lining, black straps with. Molded bows, so cute! The vintage hat has a shaped wide brim, red straw, it has purple velvet pansies and blossoms, purple rayon ribbon. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, no notable damage. Here is a VHTF Sun Dress for Cissy in NEAR MINT CONDITION!! These sun dresses are so difficult to come by and are so popular with collectors. 2 variations of Sun Dresses were made for Cissy using this fabulous fabric. It is a soft sateen cotton with a nice sheen. The color and size of the polka dots are a very iconic look for the mid-century. CONDITION: This dress is NEAR MINT. It has NEVER been laundered and it has not yellowed. The rick rack and bows retain their RED color and there is no bleeding to the dress. The faux buttons in the front are all present as well. The tag is nice and bright too. This the the exact dress that was photographed on page 62 of the Cissy! The only flaw I would like to point out is that the thread has faded on the shoulder bows. The coloring is nice and bright…. The close-up photos appear more washed out… I struggle with detail photos and retaining the vibrancy in the photos… The coloring is VIBRANT. A GREAT PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR CISSY COLLECTION. Please look over the photos carefully and READ the. Don’t think it has been washed. It’s worth restoring. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She has a vintage pearl necklace with a rhinestone bow drop. She is wearing a fabulous handmade custom gown, it has a label inside, it is vintage 1970-80′s. The gown is lavender silk with handmade and sewn rolled lavender silk roses, they have raw fringed edges and cover the entire gown. The dress snaps in back and has a large silk bustle back bow. The front is ruched and gathered, accented with rosettes. Is a very full layered taffeta and tulle petticoat with lace trim, this is an Alexander slip. She has white lace panties and lavender molded plastic high heels with ankle straps. The hat is vintage 50′s straw trimmed with matching lavender flowers and ribbons, it has a vintage copper hat pin with a lavender blown glass top.
