The books say the dress is very hard to find on page #150 of the Cissy Files, but I think it is rare. The dress is in excellent condition with no rips, holes, or odors, the elastic is still stretchy, the lace is pretty. There are a couple of tiny brown spots on the sleeve and bodice of the dress, shown in the last two photos. They may soak out in oxiclean. Beautiful HTF Garden Party Dress #2121, for Madame Alexander Cissy, 1957. This dress is a sheer pale green with pink rosebuds print and chartreuse bodice lining; with original pink satin tie bow. The rose at the waist ribbon was missing as they often are, and has been replaced with a similar vintage pink rose with leaves. The dress includes it’s original matching chartreuse yellow slip. Slip has a green tulle ruffle on both the inside and outside. Condition notes: The dress has a hole on the skirt at the side front; shown, and one area of small splits on the back, shown. The lace on the bodice has come loose in a couple of spots; shown. The sleeve elastic and slip elastic are both worn. The dress has its original “Cissy” tag. Cissy wears a gorgeous full red floral cotton dress with a bit of a drop waist. The bodice is embellished with three flat back diamond crystals and a black velvet bow. This dress was specifically designed as an haute couture outfit by Karen Parker of sewspecialties268. A full white taffeta crinoline enhanced petticoat and panties complete the dress. Cissy wears black lace enhanced gloves and a large black straw hat adorned with red velvet flowers. Her ensemble is completed with stockings and red, crystal embellished strappy high heels. Cissys body is in excellent condition with no splits or cracks. There has been one flawless invisible repair to her upper left thigh. Her lovely blonde coloured. Hair is perfectly coiffed into a do with bangs and a curly ponytail. Her blue blue eyes open and close perfectly and all her joints operate smoothly. Vintage Madame Alexander 1950′s Cissette is Dressed in Pink Polished Cotton Dress with White Bib of Val Lace and Buttons Style #909 of 1957 as Shown on Page 148 in Marjorie Merod’s “Cissette a Complete Guide”. Doll and Outfit are in New Condition. I took them Out of Original Box. Outfit Comes with with Taffeta Slip and Panties, both Trimmed With Val Lace. The Hat was also Included in the box. I have Added Pink Stockings and Shoes. There is a very small pin prick sized black spot near hem of skirt which is barely noticeable and I haven’t tried to remove it. Cissette Doll has Lovely Face. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with soft vinyl jointed arms. She is wearing a fantastic heavy polished cotton reproduction of the “bird dress”. The fabric is white background with lots of green vines, flowers and birds. Dress has a dropped waistline, with ribbon sash, and large puffed sleeves. Under the dress is a white taffeta half slip with white stiff net ruffle and matching undies. Original Cissy nylons, original green Cissy shoes, and matching straw hat and handbag. Both are decorated with lovely flowers that go with the dress perfectly. Her only jewelry is her rhinestone bracelet and tiny rhinestones on each ear. Cissy has been to the spa and looks refreshed and beautiful, as all we women do when get a little pampered. Lovely matte finish, blush, smoky eye shadow, brows, full lashes and red mouth.
