Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Tagged blue taffeta dress with satin coat. Matching slip, panties, stockings, white strappy high heels, three strand pearl necklace and hoop petticoat. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair is tied at the sides, nice sheen. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a fabulous dress of blue taffeta with an ivory satin coat lined in matching blue taffeta, blue bow at the neck. She has blue taffeta panties and a matching underskirt with ruffled flounce, plus a hoop skirt petticoat. She wears seamed stockings and white strappy high heel shoes. Her necklace is original, wired triple stand pearls. The clothing is in overall good vintage condition, shows some age, no tears or stains. The stockings have a repair in one foot and the tops are slightly different, the elastic straps on the shoes have lost some stretch. Overall stunning doll and rare outfit! Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Brunette, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged long pink ruffled tulle dress. White slip, pink horsehair hat, pink. & silver strappy high heel shoes. Pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has brunette hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The dress is tagged, it is pink net tulle in ruffled rows sprinkled with rhinestones and tiny rosette trim. She has a white taffeta slip with net flounce, pink panties, silver strappy high heels (the elastic has lost most of the stretch so they are loose) and a pink horsehair hat with the chin strap and a pink rose on the brim. Listed here is a complete outfit, including tagged dress, for your vintage Cissy doll. I see some of these pieces come along fairly often, but this outfit is exceptionally nice, and I hope you’ll consider it if you’re looking for this particular one. The sheer green dress is nylon with pink flocked flowers. It is trimmed in green lace around the neckline and puffed sleeves, and it is lined in the bodice in chartreuse taffeta to match the companion slip and lace-trimmed panties. There are four square snaps down the back, all secure. A pink satin ribbon defines the waist and ties in a generous bow in the back. Its original corsage and greenery are in excellent shape. The straw hat is adorned with the same pink silky satin ribbon and has its original floral trim that looks great. The chartreuse taffeta slip and panties have had their elastic replaced with vintage pink rayon and rubber elastic, and it is nice and tight in both pieces. I have added to the mix a pair of vintage pink high heels with excellent elastic and a vintage gold-toned watch with pink elastic band. Never did like the look of the black high heels with this pretty dress. The dress, slip, and panties have not been washed. I started to press the ribbon streamers before taking the pictures, but I don’t think they have ever been pressed, and I wanted the purchaser (if there is one) to have the honor of doing that. The sleeves of the dress have had elastic woven through the stretched original elastic to give the right fit. I don’t see any spots, stains, tears, holes, frays, or other on the dress, slip, or panties. The slip could use a very light press. The lighting for the pictures is not doing the fabric justice. I have shown a close-up in two pictures of the fabric to show you that the little lines are present. They seem to appear and disappear according to the lighting. The Cissy doll that this outfit originally came on is modeling in the pictures, but she and her stand are not included. Vintage Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll Pink Striped Dress Tagged Outfit. Gorgeous Cissy doll from 1956, dressed in her (tagged) pink shirt waist dress outfit. I believe the outfit is complete and all original. Overall very nice vintage condition! Marked Alexander on the back of her neck. She has sleep eyes that open and close, but do stick closed. Nice curl to her blonde hair. No cracks or splits in her legs or upper thighs. The beginning of a split between her legs, very light, does not go all the way through. A small ring on her finger. A few flaws to the outfit (see last photo): spots on the back of the dress by the tag, a repair to her sleeve cuff, a small hole in the heel area of her hose. The panties have holes as well, the netting on her hat is present, but torn. Also some wear to the velvet on the belt. None of these flaws are very noticeable, she still displays beautifully! These are flaws that I noticed, may be other small things that I missed. This is an absolutely spectacular CISSY made by Madame Alexander in the fifties. The dress and long train and net church veil and bouquet and hoop slip are in great shape. There are no rips or tears or holes or spots. The stones imbedded in the net dress are in perfect shape. The pictures does not do the dress justice, There are 2 rows of lace on the top of the sleeves. It is not tagged. The doll has her hair in the original set. Her face coloring is to die for. Her knees are pinked. I will include an Alexander bride garter with this doll that is old and MA. This dress has round snaps. I have been told that it is not a M A dress. I cannot document it. If it isnt it was made by an extremely talented person or a tailor because it is unbelievably detailed. Please ask questions or ask for more pictures.
