Madame Alexander-kins 7 1/2″ Early SLNW “Strung (1953). This is an early Madame Alexander-kins doll with a Straight Leg Non-Walker (SLNW) strung body, produced in 1953. 7 1/2 inches tall (commonly categorized as an 8-inch Alexander-kins). Straight leg, non-walker (SLNW), strung body. Sleep eyes: fully functional. Hair color: Blonde, with beautiful natural sheen and luster. Early 1953 SLNW bodies were produced in limited numbers. Compared to later versions, this early body has a noticeably heavier feel, a known characteristic of early production examples. Original factory face paint: beautifully preserved. Lips: Vivid red with a lovely coral undertone. Please note that the paint along the lip line is slightly irregular and not perfectly smooth. This is a minor factory-related detail visible only under magnification (not a physical chip). Face: There is a very slight, tiny indentation on the right temple. Cheeks: Soft, original cheek color remains in generally good condition. Eyes: Clear and bright with smooth open/close movement. Dress: Original red and white polka dot dress in excellent condition. It has been carefully wrapped in paper and stored for a long period, so the fabric shows some natural storage folds/creasing. Original red button-strap shoes. Please note there is some scuffing on the soles due to age/display. This is a vintage, all-original doll in excellent overall condition. While it shows the minor age-related/factory characteristics mentioned above. It remains a remarkable example for a doll over 70 years old. Pictured is a 7 1/2 Early Madame Alexander-kins Doll From 1953. She has the heavier body, her back is marked ALEX. She is a strung doll not a walker. She holds a pose quite well as you can see. There is a short seam separation on her neck, it does not detract from her beauty, please refer to the picture. She has red hair in the original curled, crunchy set, blue sleep eyes with molded and painted lower lashes, painted brows, a beautiful flawless complexion with very rosy cheeks & red lips. She is wearing her tagged, black flowered pinafore & pink cotton dress. She has her white petticoat & panties with matching lace trim, white socks & black velvet side snap shoes. Her woven hat is missing some of the berries. All are crisp & clean smelling in excellent condition. She has quite the personality! Please view the pictures as they are part of the description. Here is a pretty vintage Madame Alexander Cissy. She is 20 tall, all stringing good. She shows some rubbing on her joints. She does not have pierced ears. She has rubbing at her leg/hip/neck joints and some small scratches and spots on her limbs. She has a crack inner right leg from knee up and small cracks on the left hip. Her wig is in a fair to poor condition with repair attempts with a hot glue possibly. She has rose red lips, clear green/gold sleep eyes. With some scratches on the lids. Up for sale is a Gorgeous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She is 20 tall with a hard plastic body and vinyl sleeved arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows , hips and knees. She has Stunning crystal blue sleep eyes, with full lashes, rosy cheeks, red lips and a golden blonde wig in the Bob style that has been professionally styled and has a hair net. She has blushed hands and knees. She has a very small split at the top of her left leg in the hip socket. She is one of the early Cissy Dolls with the painted face. She is wearing a new chemise, vintage stockings and vintage heels. She is All Original and in Excellent Condition. She’s a Beauty!!! Early Vintage Madame Alexander Doll Hard Plastic 14″ Little Women “Jo Rare Hat! Beautiful original Madame Alexander Little Women Jo doll from late 1940′s. This darling measures 14 inches tall and comes with a rare hat! Dress is tagged and all clothes are original. She may be missing a yellow hair ribbon. Elastic in pantaloons is. Worn out and her socks are falling apart. Clothing could use a wash and press. I don’t see any damage other than her hair is messy and needs restyling. There is an extra dab on plastic, a manufacturing flaw on her shoulder. She was played with. For a few years before being locked away. Bought a pair of these from the original owner (now 82).
