DIONNE QUINTUPLETS – VINTAGE COMPOSITION – COMPLETE SET OF FIVE. ALL ORIGINAL – CIRCA: 1935 – 1945. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. This is a complete and original set of 5 Dionne Quintuplets. They are 8 inch toddlers. For reference see page #16 in’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. I do not have their boxes. They are so cute – how can you not love them? Each has her original dress; diaper; underskirt; name bib; bonnet; and knit slippers. Each has a different color in the ribbon on the bonnet and slippers and name on bib. I had questioned the originality of the slippers but on careful examination; the ribbon on the slippers is the exact ribbon (color & stitching & color fading) that is on the bonnets. The color also matches exactly the names on their bibs. They are painted eye and molded hair. And of course, those brown side glancing eye’s. There is no repainting as examined by a black light. All have all their fingers. Two of them have a very tiny nose paint chip off (must have fallen at one point) and a third has crazing down the forehead. There is no crazing on the bodies.
