Beautiful 1950′S MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY with Tagged Floral Dress. She has brown curly hair in the original hair set in her original hairnet. She has multi stroke eyebrows, peach lips, green sleep eyes with all her lashes, lower painted lashes and nice cheek blush. There are no cracks or splits to her body though she has a faint discoloration at her waist from the elastic in her slip. She has her original tagged hard to find Cissy floral dress with white lace trim on the sleeves. Her outfit comes with her original yellow slip, yellow satin panties with lace trim. The elastic is still very nice on both the slip and undies. She also has her original nylons and black high heels with a pink base. She comes wearing a vintage matching pearl necklace with gold and real diamond clasp, pearl earrings, and pearl bracelet. This is a very lovely Madame Alexander Cissy with a hard to find original clothing. Cissy will make a wonderful addition to your doll collection and displays nicely. Rare Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Doll Dress Floral Prints w Rickrack 1957. This beautiful yellow striped dress is printed with a dainty purple floral pattern, trimmed with purple rickrack, purple satin ribbon that ties in the back, rhinestones dot the bodice, white lace at neckline and arm holes. Dress still retains the original Cissy Tag. Dress is for a Cissy doll and the dress length is approx 11 inches long. Dress is excellent condition with no rips or tears. Dress pleats are well maintained and all bodice rhinestones are firmly in place. No fading or discoloration that I found and no offensive odors. On the purple ribbon sash at the waist line, one of the pink strings is broke on one side (see pic) which keeps the purple sash from bunching in, in a small spot. Also, one of the buttons on the back of the dress has a loose string; button is still holding to the dress but one side of the bottom stitch is loose. RARE BEAUTIFUL 16 1957-58 MADAME ALEXANDER ELISE FLORAL WREATH BRIDE. Up for sale is a very nice Madame Alexander Elise bride doll from the mid fifties. She has been stored in a glass case. She has on a beautiful white gown that has a embroidered design around the bottom. The only damage I find is a very small hole inside one of the embroidered ovals in the back. Her garter, slip, hose, panties and shoes are also original and in good condition except for the damage to one heel as shown in the closeups. They are being held on by small rubber bands. There are a couple of tiny spots on the slip. Her blonde hair still is in original do. Face color is nice and eyes are working good with full eyelashes. She has soft vinyl jointed arms but the rest of the body is hard plastic with jointed knees and ankles. Good shape with the arms and head a tiny bit loose. One earring is missing. Her flowers are replacements but I think are vintage Alexander. It is in good condition with no holes but some of the little flowers are coming loose and are pinned on. When restoring these 75 year old + dolls, great care is taken in having them look like they did when they were mint & new. Color is vibrant, Finish is satiny, features are complete and great effort has been taken to replicate the originality from the factory. MARGARET O’BRIEN Madame Alexander doll Child actress contemporary of Judy Garland and Others. She has Clear sleep eyes, Her original Mohair wig in loop braids which is in great shape. She is marked Alexander faintly on the back of her head. Her outfit is Factory made and of her day and style, but not original. Dress is dimity floral with a Organdy pinafore. Hat is vintage straw with old millinery. Good vintage shoes and socks. These girls have the prettiest faces. More beauties listed, so please take a look. Please look at all the pictures. You have the option to use the magnification feature as well. Sometimes these 50-80 year old dolls just dont survive the test of time very well. Finding a skilled restorationist is as hard to find as the rare doll itself. This is a ART. A labor of love & mostly a lot of sanding. With these collectible pieces, I have done my best to keep the doll looking as original as possible when the doll was factory made (not what a 80 year old faded doll looks like). With that being said, These are still Vintage & Antique dolls. Composition especially has a lot of factory nuances that other materials do not have. Their imperfections are part of the charm of composition. This doll has been repaired if needed, and eyes will be clear and a appropriate color. There will be no missing fingers or toes. I use paints which are very similar to the ones used by the factory. The overhaul process includes stripping, filling, sanding, priming, airbrush painting, hand painted features & sealing. I pay special attention to the faces and they are completely smooth. I line the head socket with suede. I have been a skilled Artist all my life. She is wearing a black pinafore outfit that was made from 1953-56. She is from 1955 based off of her having no under eyelashes. This doll is in unplayed with condition and just terrific in every way. The doll herself has darling auburn side bunches with original green factory tied bows. She has beautiful all original coloring and is a SLW. She is a little bit loose but we did not want to undress her to restring her and will leave it up to the new owner. Her dress is so cute and is a dark pink with a waffle design. The dress is perfect with no stains, holes, tears or odors. The matching bloomers are also perfect and have tight original stretch. The black pinafore is beautiful and has not faded. It also has no issues to report and is still factory tied in the back. She comes wearing beautiful socks and an excellent pair of fuzzy bottom black shoes that show no wear. She finishes off her outfit with a darling straw hat with pink roses. The hat like everything else is excellent and has tight stretch to the elastic. She comes with her original hang tag, neck brace and box all of which are in great condition. All together this is a near mint to mint doll in the box that is unplayed with and fantastic.
