This is a Madame Alexander Little Genius from 1950′s with her original outfit, super cute and, overall, in wonderful condition. Her eyes open and close beautifully, she has an open mouth, her coloring is good and she is blond, with short hair. Her head is hard plastic (and she has a “scar” over her right eyebrow that goes down almost to her eye). The rest of her is all vinyl, and she has no markings that I could find. Super clean, with no stains, vinyl darkening, marks, etc. She is dressed in a very thin delicate linen underdress, cotton (cloth diaper style) panties and over that a beautiful cotton white dress with tiny blue with green flowers and lace ruffles finishing the short sleeves, bottom edge and collar. She has a bonnet in the same fabric as her dress, it ties under her neck and also with lace ruffle. On top of all that, she brings her pink silk/satin overcoat, which is tagged. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1950s, 1956, Madame Alexander kins 8 caracul soft vinyl baby Wendy Little Genius with her tagged Alexander kins christening gown and bonnet. She is a beauty and was never played with; she is from the original adult owner’s collection. She is a real beauty with bright and even coloration. The cheeks are nicely blushed. The unclouded bright blue eyes are easy open and close with intact eyelashes. The caracul hair is thick, full, and lovely. She is a drink and wet style baby doll. —Her eyes open and close easily. Her eyelids are a pretty light pink. Her eyebrows are unfaded and distinct. Her lips are unfaded, bright, and full. Her arms are somewhat loosely strung, and they domewhat hold a pose. She walks perfectly and beautifully. The elastic bands in her arms were remmoved, and they were replaced with new elastic cording. Her arms now pose beautifully. –This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. She is wearing a bright, off-white, stunning, very clean original tagged Alexander kins dress and a bonnet. Her bonnet has intact ribbon ties with some minor fraying at the ends. Both of her dresses enjoy well attached snap buttons. She also has her original clean bright white panties with stretchy elastic. Her pretty and displayable under slip dress appears factory fresh, or close to it, just like her christening gown. The under slip dress is pink snd makes her top gown appear light pink. She only has one sock. —You can see that the pink ribbons on her gown and bonnet are stunning and incredible additions. Her dress and outfit is free of issues, holes, or blemishes. She is close to factory fresh. —- We did not attempt to wash her. She appears clean and ready to display immediately. The doll and dress was stored in a cool dark room in a pet and smoke free estate and house.
