Madame Alexander Dolls

NOTE I HAD THIS DOLL LISTRD AS 1940′S, HOWEVER, A FELLOW EBAYER INFORMED ME THAT IN THE 40′S THIS DOLL WAS MADE OF COMPOSITION MATERIAL. IT IS NEVER MY INTENTION TO MISREPRESENT THE ITEMS I SELL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. OFFERED IS MY BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 1950. MADAME ALEXANDER “GOOD FAIRY DOLL”. MARGARET FACE / GREEN EYES. SHE STANDS 17 TALL (see pictures). OVER 60 YEARS OLD. MY DOLL’S STORY. MOST of these dolls were not played with. They have lived in a wood & glass cabinet. Although they were protected from direct sunlight and dust there may be imperfections which I will try to disclose in full with each listing. I will try to note all specifics under “DETAILS OF THIS ITEM”. ALSO, PLEASE REFER TO ALL THE PICTURES FOR DETAILS AND MEASUREMENTS. DETAILS OF THIS ITEM. THIS DOLL WAS NEVER PLAYED WITH OR UNDRESSED. ORIGINAL “GOOD FAIRY” TAG STILL ATTACHED. ALL JOINTS ARE EXCELLENT. FACE & HANDS HAVE ORIGINAL BEAUTIFUL COLORING. HAIR IS ORIGINAL – NEVER COMBED. HER EYES ARE GREEN AND WORK WELL. CROWN & WAND ARE ORIGINAL (some tarnishing with age). DRESS IS VERY PALE PINK (FADING IS VERY EVEN). THERE ARE SOME SMALL SPOTS IN THE FRONT. (See pictures for details). PALE PINK SLIP WITH TRIM. PINK SHOES WITH BOWS. WINGS HAVE SOME IMPERFECTIONS (See pictures for details). This is a very sweet doll and would make a lovely addition to your collection. This is a 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is dressed in her original tagged navy blue dress with a ruffled white cape, both are crisp. The straw hat needs blocking. The original watch is still attached at the waist. A pearl choker has been added. She is in very good condition Her facepaint is still bright if with tiny age spots (see closeup) her hair, a little flyaway No Alexander box. BLACK VELVET RIBBONS ENCIRCLE HER NECK AND WRISTS. SHE DOES HAVE A SLIGHT HARD PLASTIC IF YOU PUT YOUR NOSE TO HER FACE; HOWEVER, SHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY OBNOXIOUS ODORS MOLD, ETC. I DETECTED NO DAMAGE TO THE DOLL HERSELF. SHE IS TRULY LOVELY AND WELL STRUNG AND HER GOWN IS BEAUTIFULLY MADE. SHE IS A DELIGHT TO SEE AND HAS BEEN WITH ME FOR 11 YEARS.
