Cissette is 9-1/2 inches tall and has joints at the head, shoulders, hips and knees. She is all hard plastic with original cheek color and pretty rare green eyes. May need a slight nudge…. But only once in a while…. Her tosca wig is in original set, pulled back into curls at the nape of the neck. The red-and-white stripe tagged dress is an early one for Cissette. Trimmed with baby white rickrack & white bow at waist. It is tagged and can be seen in the pictures. She is wearing nylon seamed hose and crisp white taffeta original slip and panties. Black high heels’ Red straw hat with red drops…. She’s so cute on display in her dress and hat, poses well. Comes in original correctly labeled lidded box with original pink tissue.. VERY NICE TAGGED CISSY PINK STRIPED DRESS. This vintage Madame Alexander pink striped Cissy dress is clean, complete and in extremely nice vintage condition. All buttons and snaps are solidly in place and work well. This is the 1956 City Shopper dress for the 20 Cissy doll with black belt and neck bow (the belt is tattered). The dress is tagged, and included are the cancan-type petticoat and matching panties. The petticoat has some age staining, and the waist elastic is stretched. Let me know any questions. This is a MADAME ALEXANDER ” Annabelle” using the Maggie face. She is from 1953 and is 17 inches tall. Her blonde hair is in its original set with the original ribbon. Her dress and sweater are in wonderful condition. No holes or stains to report. Shoes and socks are great and original too. Her stringing is good. Her face has lovely even coloring with some cheek coloring and the dolls eyes are wonderful with thick lashes which are all present (see photo). I think Madame Alexander created some of her best designs in the 1950′s. MADAME ALEXANDER Cissy doll in her 1956 Shopping outfit. I have seen this doll in this outfit referred to as Cissy shopping on Worth Avenue too. No tears, stains or odors with her gold waistband on her pants a little stretched. Blouse is perfect and the correct yellow waffle fabric (no tag). Shoe elastic may have been replaced but shoes do have the hollowed out heels. I do believe the nylons were replaced at some time. Until now I have never undressed this doll as I do not like undressing them, but needed to check for splits and I did find one on each upper leg which are hidden inside the torso. Please refer to photos. Her hat is secured to her head with the original medium green velvet tie. A matching green necklace and tiny green bracelet do come with her, but they were adding at some point. Her hair is ion its original hair set for the most part. I do see one weakened curl in the back, but not to worry as this is hidden under her hat. Her face does have some very soft cheek coloring along with eye shadow. There are a couple maybe two eyelashes missing, very minor. FYI the split on her upper right leg is just a hair line and is not open. Now I have meticulously described this doll as honestly as I can, but as you can see she is a wonderful doll in her original very hard to find complete outfit. No international orders please. From the Golden Age of Madame Alexander dolls, This is one of the eariliest, 1957, Madame Alexander Cissy dolls. She is dressed in her original tagged navy blue dress with a ruffled white cape, both are crisp. The straw hat needs blocking. The original watch is still attached at the waist. A pearl choker has been added. She is in very good condition Her facepaint is still bright if with tiny age spots (see closeup) her hair, a little flyaway No Alexander box. Even though I do not smoke I cannot guarantee that the doll has never been exposed to it.
