Here is an early painted Cissy doll with great original coloring. Her only real need is to have the curls put back in her blonde wig. She has gorgeous blue eyes, all of her brush lashes, and her skin tone is even. She has no tears to her vinyl arms and no splits in her hard plastic. She has original blush on her hands, knees and cheeks. Her sleep eyes open and close, and her joints all work well. She has rubs on her eyelids, but when open are not seen. There is a strange spot on the left side of her torso near the buttocks where it looks like something plastic or something of the same color as the hard plastic was dabbed. I have no idea what that is, but she had it when I got her. Her arms are strung well. She has the typical light rubs at the tops of her legs. Her head will bob when moved, but is poseable and stable, I believe. Her wig is nice and full and shiny, but is lacking its original curl. I just don’t have time to work on the hairdos any more. She will be a nice display doll once the hair is put in order. Cissy will come to you in an oversized pink terry cloth bathrobe (see last picture). Smoke-free home and offered to USA BUYERS ONLY. This is a wonderful Pamela play doll by Madame Alexander using the Lissy face from 1968. She comes with 3 dresses, 2 of the three wigs (the brunette one is missing), tagged ballet outfit with floral head piece and ballet slippers and 1 floral night gown. After research I came to the conclusion that these are pieces of different trunk sets from 1968 and 1970. I did take photos from the books Madame Alexander Collector’s dolls by Patricia Smith on page 153 and Madame Alexander Dolls on Review by Marjorie Sturges Uhl on page 214 (Doll in photo is in the same dress only in yellow). All dresses including the night gown have Madame Alexander square snaps and are lined with organdy fabric as Madame Alexander is known for along with them being identified in the books but are not tagged. The pale pink dress does have a few brown stains as does the trunk. This is not a Pamela trunk as it is to big. I don’t know if it is even a Madame Alexander trunk. There is a name on the trunk in black, please see photo. As for the lovely doll she is in great condition. Her bald head does have the original Velcro strip as do both wigs. Her stringing is good and tight. Slight staining to her right arm. Face coloring is excellent. No international orders and Thank you so much for looking. This is a lovely example of a Madame Alexander CISSY Doll in the Walking the Dog outfit from 1956. She is missing the blue necklace and the dog, but has the wonderful pink shoes which were exclusive to this outfit. The black velvet skirt is flawless with a perfect magenta pink velvet waistband with metal flowers. Many times the velvet is shredded. Stocking and bloomers are fine. As for this doll no problems, no cracks or splits and wonderful hair. Looking above her left eyebrow there is some black lines, don’t know what they are, but they are there. Netting kind of hides them though. I know I just tore this doll apart but she really is a fantastic looking doll. Her stringing is good and tight. No international orders please. This is a darling Annabelle, hard plastic, Alexander Doll with her box. She is in great condition. I looked her over (did not undress her) and I do not detect any cracks. She does not smell. I have a non-smoking, pet-free house. She has very nice face coloring and no loose limbs. Her eyes open and close easily and all lashes are in tact. This Cissy has beautiful coloring. She is hard plastic with vinyl arms and I do see a “split in the bottom of one of her arms”. See picture Needs a little light cleaning of her arms. Marked “ALEXANDER” on back of head. Complete with original Earrings. Here’s a great “CISSY” for your collection. Her mature figure, jointed limbs and high-heeled feet made her a fashion doll classic in the 1950′s. Her body is hard plastic, and her arms are vinyl. Her head turns, and the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees are jointed. Her “sleep” eyes work well and the lashes are full – see the photos. Her “lipstick” is intact with no chips or scratches to the color. Cissy comes complete with her original rhinestone earrings. Her wig, which is detached, is a redhead. Some of the original style can be seen but the wig does need some TLC. She is wearing panties that are stretched out and certainly look her age, but I don’t know if they were original. This Cissy is in excellent condition. The only issue can be seen in the second photo – One little piece of vinyl pops out of the arm joint when the arm is lowered – it can just be pushed back in to the joint – It’s mentioned here for complete accuracy. 6 of the dolls are SLW and 1 is a BKW all are in good but not mint condition. I will try my best to explain each doll and any issues I see. Red Haired SLW with good color but her arms and legs seem a little darker then the rest of her body and her hair need styling. Red Haired SLW is really pretty with great color and she would have been good enough to sell on her own but her head spins all the way around. I have never seen this before and she displays beautifully but she does have the head issue. Besides that she is a great doll. Tosca SLW with some color to her cheeks but not as bright as some. Tosca SLW with high cheek color that has been professionally redone. Blonde 1955 SLW with some color to her cheeks but not as bright as some. Brunette BKW who is very pretty and would have been a good doll to sell alone had it not been for the red staining on her torso. This of course would be covered by a dress but is there none the less. All together this is a really nice lot of earlier Alexander Kins that will look great redressed if you don’t mind some slight imperfections. Hese Madame Alexander dolls are my mother’s collection and she has recently given them to me to sell. They are without box, but have been in her glass case since the 80s and 90s when she bought them. I want to sell the lot as is to once collector or enthusiast. The dolls are not in perfect condition but still in close to great condition. The only issues are a a few dresses have slight sun fade and some of the elastics on the hats and accessories have loosened. I’ll bubble wrap them all as they are in one big box.
