Up for sale is a Gorgeous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. Stunning All Original Cissy she is as Near Mint as Near Mint can be. All Original with crystal blue eyes with full lashes, infused face with high color blush, rosy red lips, blushed hands and knees and perfect body with no cracks, splits or repairs. Golden blonde hair that is curly and fluffy with darling little crimped curls around her face. This Gorgeous Girl will be the Star of any Collection. She is 20 tall with a hard plastic body and vinyl sleeved arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows , hips and knees. She is so Gorgeous that I couldn’t resist dressing her. Handmade , vintage patterned dress. The upper front portion of the fitted bodice is made of vintage white cotton organdy and lined with white taffeta. The full skirt has an attached and gathered red net under slip. The dress closes with 2 hand sewn snaps in the back. It is well made of quality fabric, serged seams and details. Next I bought her a hat and matching purse from rtrorich, Richard’s Originals. The hat is an all vintage veiled ivory straw with an applied lacy horse hair brim edge and tulle scarf. The crown has a vintage spray of off white cloth petal flowers, red cloth roses and rhinestone accents. It has vintage silk veiling. The matching bag has double strap handles and corsage with rhinestones. I also bought her a red rhinestone necklace, but I have arthritis in my hands and couldn’t get the clasp open, but I will include it. Also new is her red strappy sandals. She also comes with a vintage hatbox with gloves, curlers and comb inside, original panties, original seamed stockings, original can can petticoat, original faux pearl necklace and original faux emerald ring. This is a Stunning Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in #916 tagged crisp version of the Navy Blue Taffeta Dress. She has high color to her cheeks. In her book Cissette A Complete Guide to the Madame Alexander Dolls by Marjorie E Merrod M. She states that this dress is a variation with the blue and white sheer blue and white dotted organdy puff sleeves, sash and pleated back inset. The organdy has not aged in color as viewed in person. The tagged taffeta dress is in super crisp clean excellent condition. Cissette is a 9 inch hard plastic doll in very clean condition. She is also wearing her basic clean and pristine chemise under the dress. Her hard plastic torso has pink color transfer front and back (below the waist). She is also wearing red elastic high heels and small rhinestone earrings. Her hard plastic body is super clean with tight joints, Her arms hold a pose and her medium blond zig zag stitched wig is absolutely beautiful. It is in the original very very shiny set with long curls to the nape of her neck. She has high color to her cheeks, peach eyelids, pink nail polish, full face paint and coral pink lips. Smoke and pet free. Additional: The color transfer, particularly red/pink, is usually from something she once wore. At the time this doll was produced, red dyes were very unstable, not like today. If you laundered an article of red clothing with your “whites”, you would have pink whites at the end. So she wore something red at one point in her life. This is a gorgeous example of a 1950s Madame Alexander CISSY doll. From a time gone by when little girls played with dolls and their mommies helped make clothes for them. The doll is in excellent condition and still has nice blush on her face hands and knees. This is all original and has not been touched up! I did replace a few eyelashes on her right eye and there is a pin head size dot on her right breast (see picture) which I believe is a mold flaw. She has gorgeous dark red hair and her original tagged chemise which has had a few holes repaired in the lace. She will come with many one of a kind handmade outfits which include a gorgeous wedding gown and 9 pairs of shoes. I love all of the vintage fabrics that were used! She also has a pair of original sunglasses. The doll and clothing have all been recently cleaned and are free of stains and odors. Some of the clothing may need a snap or a stitch or two but all are in good clean condition. Shoes are in excellent condition with good elastic. As far as I can tell most are original Cissy shoes except for maybe one pair. There are a few other pieces of clothing not pictured. Vintage 50′s high fashion Madame Alexander 20 Cissy doll in OOAK ensemble. Please view the last photo. The outfit on the right is a Christian Dior dress totally covered in flowers, and the ensemble on the left shows the same type of 50′s style with a flower encrusted bodice only. Cissy’s outfit is a two part bodice and skirt. The skirt is a full length lavender fluid charmeuse circle skirt that is fully lined with a lightweight tulle. The bodice has an inner lightweight crinoline and a cotton batiste outer shell, covered with vintage silk flowers and then lined. It snaps up the back with 3 square snaps. Under the ensemble is a full length satin 1/2 slip, a pair of Cissy panties with new elastic at waist, a pair of vintage nylons with a few small holes, and a pair of newly made lavender shoes. Please note that in the nude pictures of Cissy, you see a clear stone bracelet. It is not included, just the multicolored one. Also included is a matching hair clip made with same type flowers of the bodice and a pair of lovely purple gloves to accent her many colored flowers. Cissy herself is a show stopper! She has lovely, full long red hair that is tied up at the sides and pulled back into a long chignon. Her face has had a full spa treatment. All new painted lashes, brows, lips and blush. A matte finish/sealer was applied. She has new lashes in her gorgeous blue eyes. Her arms are nice and have no rips to the rubber. No odors or stains. No split repairs and very minimal inner thigh rubs. There is a small hairline split on the top of the right leg. So thin and not seen unless the leg is tipped out. This is another wonderful estate found, vintage Madame Alexander. She is an absolutely gorgeous, 16 honey blonde ELISE doll. Dolls hair still has the clip in it, and her bun still has the net on it. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Original pink high heel shoes with floral toes. Tosca hair, stitched part. Presented here is a beautiful vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll wearing a 1950′s pink taffeta dress, original Cissette pink hat with flocked and velvet flowers, original strappy pink high heels with velvet flowers and. On the toes, underneath she has matching pink panties. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, no cracks or damage. Lovely high color face with blue-green sleep eyes, that open and close freely, red mouth, single stroke brows. Her hair is looks to be tosca color (between light brown, dark blonde and reddish), stitched part with most of the original curl. The doll holds a pose nicely, knees bend. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition, no stains, no tears, nice body. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item.
