Madame Alexander Pussy cat doll in excellent vintage condition. We are offering an 18 inch Pussycat doll in excellent condition – there are no flaws in the doll or clothes that I can find. She does not appear to have been played with. She has dark Brown Hair and Pink Outfit/Dress + leather shoes. This doll is on the harder to find side. Exact year unknown, but I believe its from the 1970s. Is in nice shape, Outfit is in overall good shape, pink color. She is wearing a button down taffeta coat with collar and pink organdy dress with petticoat and bloomers. Elastic is fairly well tight considering her age. The doll bonnet’s elastic band is still intact but has lost its elasticity. The underwear elastic has lost some elasticity as well, but not all. Doll’s eyes open and close but one eye sometimes sticks on occasion. However they usually work well. See full condition details under used. Doll measures approximately 18 in. This is a great Madame Alexander doll! I guarantee my items that are in my control. In reviewing comps, there are very few pussycats in descent shape, let alone in this coat and dress and this condition. I want to find a great “forever home” for this great doll. He is very rare. He has a few issues His hat is not original to him. He came without a hat so i manage to fine him a tricone that fits him very nice. Its made out of velveteen Next his boots disintegrated. He has on what is left. I glued a new bottom on which doesn’t fit the best but gives a good look. Next his tights stained his lower body. His tights are not included You dont see when he is dressed. He wears an original camel colored coat with original gold buttons on the cuffs and coat and on the back where the coat panels attached to each other gold silk lining with two side buttons and five stitch buttonholes. A beautiful French long sleeve ruffled white blouse with copper and gold brocade vest with original gold buttons braided trim Pockets with gold button decor. Original Brown velvet pants tuck under boots there are knee high in length. He is a 21 inch twist body, brown sleep eyes, original white braided wig. Beautiful 1957 Cissy doll wearing the Bon Voyage outfit blouse, skirt and pin watch. She’s 20 tall with red-blond hair and pretty sleep eyes. Cissy’s rubbery feeling arms have detached and they’re dirty but seem fine otherwise. Her head is wobbly on neck — not sure if this is normal. Her lovely face has a few small, light marks as shown — I only used a damp cloth on her, so they might be easy to clean up if you know how. Legs look a little dirty. I see no cracks along her joints or other damage except what I’ve already mentioned. Her hair seems nice and thick but is a little messy and I can see what looks like a seam just behind her bangs. Clothes need cleaning and her blouse is missing the flower at top. The pin watch looks like it’s in great shape with just minor expected wear. She’s wearing white underwear that are not tagged, and has no shoes or other clothes or accessories. I don’t know much about dolls, just what I can find online, so please let me know if you have any questions. Margaret faced “Margot Ballerina” by Madame Alexander. Believe this dates to 1954. #1850 of the 1954 Madame Alexander catalog. Her hair is waved away from her face and secured at the back in her original hair net. Spanner bar on top of head. Dark blonde hair is accented with pink and white flowers. Pink Satin and tulle costume is accented with sparkly rhinestones on the bodice. Pink satin slippers with satin ties. Head turns from side to side when arms are moved. Eyes close when laid down. They do open and close fine. Faint stray mark on upper right arm and one on her left shoulder. Super faint stray marks on upper chest and on upper back. Beautiful doll from 1953. She has her original shoes, stockings, slip with attached undies, original gown with purple velvet banner and pearl necklace and matching bracelet. The guide books I have looked at have the necklace and bracelet as original pieces. She is missing her original crown, so I have substituted an authentic contemporary Cissy crown. She has replaced gloves. I’ve also made her a rhinestone bracelet in exactly the same design as she would have been wearing out of old store stock rhinestones, silver braid and snaps.. The earrings she came with were replaced, so I found vintage store stock and remade earrings similar to what she would have had. There are two very small tears in her ballgown as shown. Her dress and slip have been gently cleaned with Perk and have been pressed. The hoopskirt is out of round, and this can be fixed, but I didn’t want to mess with it. Her dress has the original tag. Princess Margaret Rose is harder to find than Queen Elizabeth, and this doll has cleaned up and presents very nicely.
