She has nice all over coloring with originally blushed cheeks and red lips. Her body is free of stains or cracks and her yes/no button works well. She has a lovely brown wig with lots of curls. Wow what a beautiful doll! This particular doll really knocks me out. Her coloring is just fantastic. She has a light brown/tosca wig that is tight to her head and full of shine. Tosca is not my favorite hair color but occasionally you get one that is particularly pretty and to me that is the case with this doll. Her facial coloring is perfection. She has a matte finish to her plastic and her original cheek color is really bright. What really brings it all together are her dark pupiless eyes. Her darling outfit is in great condition. The blue felt coat has no holes or stains and is a beautiful color blue that has not faded or yellowed. A couple of the buttons on the sleeve have lost a little color but it does not detract in any way. Her matching hat is also just beautiful with no holes or stains and the white pom poms are still very white and not yellowed. Her white dress is in good condition and is a nice white color which is free of holes, tears or odors. There is one tiny brown spot on the back of the dress in a fold that is really hard to see unless you know it is there and you are looking for it. Under the dress is a star slip and bloomers. They are both in excellent. With nice tight original stretch to the elastic. To finish off the outfit she wears a perfect pair of black fuzzy bottom shoes and white socks. The box is marked Wendy Kins 380 brunette. She came to me in this box so I believe it could be correct for this doll although I have seen the number 621 also referenced with this outfit. The doll is spectacular with beautiful high coloring that is all original. She has shiny brunette hair that is nice and tight to her head and in the original set topped with a pink bow. The organdy dress is beautiful and shows just the slightest bit of aging to the pink organdy. It has no holes, stains, tears or odors. Under the dress is a beautiful pink slip and bloomers. The slip is a pink organdy and is just fabulous with nice tight elastic. She wears black smooth bottom shoes and white sock that are both in perfect condition. She comes in a box labeled 576 blonde and it is believed to be the original box this darling doll came in. This beautiful BKW has super high coloring that is all original and perfection. She has beautiful blonde hair that is shiny and in the original set. Her stringing is all original and she has no stains or cracks to her body. She comes wearing a rare purple pinafore and yellow dress. Both pieces have a super polished cotton shine to them and have no holes, stains, tears or odors. Under her dress she wears a beautiful organdy slip and bloomers both of which have nice tight original stretch. She comes wearing fuzzy bottom white shoes and socks. The shoes are in really good condition but have a few stray marks here and there. Lastly is her fabulous purple hat with yellow cabbage roses. It is attached to her head with a madame alexander pin and does not look to have ever had chin strap. The box shows normal wear and tear but is in overall good shape. This doll is so cute! She has wonderful high color that is all original. Her cheeks are brightly colored, she has beautiful red lips, dark eyelashes and brows. Her hair is a Tosca triple stitch with what I believe to be original side bunches and bows. This is exactly how she came to me and the bows look factory tied to me. She wears a lovely pair of Alexander kins bloomers with nice original stretch. Lastly her body is in great condition with no stains or cracks. She is wearing a black pinafore outfit that was made from 1953-56. She is from 1955 based off of her having no under eyelashes. This doll is in unplayed with condition and just terrific in every way. The doll herself has darling auburn side bunches with original green factory tied bows. She has beautiful all original coloring and is a SLW. She is a little bit loose but we did not want to undress her to restring her and will leave it up to the new owner. Her dress is so cute and is a dark pink with a waffle design. The dress is perfect with no stains, holes, tears or odors. The matching bloomers are also perfect and have tight original stretch. The black pinafore is beautiful and has not faded. It also has no issues to report and is still factory tied in the back. She comes wearing beautiful socks and an excellent pair of fuzzy bottom black shoes that show no wear. She finishes off her outfit with a darling straw hat with pink roses. The hat like everything else is excellent and has tight stretch to the elastic. She comes with her original hang tag, neck brace and box all of which are in great condition. All together this is a near mint to mint doll in the box that is unplayed with and fantastic. Simply gorgeous, she has fabulous face paint, with high color cheeks, ruby lips, and flutter sleep eyes. Her dark blonde wig is triple stitched and. In the original set, a bit flattened in the back from a hat, or perhaps laying in a box. Wendy’s heavy hard plastic body has no splits, cracks, or chew marks. She is evenly colored, nicely strung, and will hold a pose. One arm stays up better than the other. She will be fun to dress! This Kins is just beautiful with lovely overall coloring and pretty all original bright facial coloring. She has a beautiful blonde triple stitch wig in the original set topped with an original pink bow to match her dress. She does have one little rub on her face that is hard to see in the pictures but is there so I wanted to mention it. It does not in anyway distract from her beauty. She comes wearing a beautiful pink taffeta dress that is in excellent condition. The dress has no stains, tears, holes or odors. The color of the dress is a beautiful pink with nice white lace trim. Under her dress she has on a beautiful organdy slipand a matching pair of pink tafetta bloomers. The elastic at the waist of both items is nice and tight. She comes with white top stitch side snap shoes that are in very good condition. All together this is such a lovely early Alexander Kins that is sure to please. I believe she dates from the 1950s. Here knees are jointed. Her outfit is all original. She is dressed as a Chamber Maid and comes complete with her own dusting stick and little lace cap on her head. I will answer the best I can. Her eyes open and close. Cloth tag on the back of the dress. There is a small faded spot on the back edge of the dress (see photo). Very good condition for the age. Here dress is a little dusty, but I did not attempt to clean her in any way. I leave that for the experts. A wonderful addition for any collection or she would make a great gift. This 8 strung Madame Alexander doll is from the early 1950′s. She’s been very gently played with. Hair is in its original set, bit mussed. Body is fine but does have a few dark spots by ankles probably from the black shoes she wore. She’s well strung and a type of heavier doll made in the early days. Her makeup is fine and eyes open and close easily. She comes with her original black side snap shoes (snaps are working). The clothes are not tagged and in played with shape.
