This are All Original 1955 Madame Alexander Straight Leg Walker Little Women. The outfits are all original and clean along with FUZZY BOTTOM black side snap shoes! They open and close their eyes when laid down and stood up. They all have their own stands. Also wearing bloomers and shoes. The Dolls are as follows. Checkered red dress with green apron. Light pink colored dress. Red white dress. Marme – beige dress with bluek apron. These are all original and have been stored away for more than 40 years. G’day from Down Under….. Hope all my doll friends are keeping safe. I’m getting old (sigh) and it’s time to pass on the last 56 of my much loved alexanderkins. I know when I depart this mortal coil that none of my kids or grandkids would be interested in these dolls so they could end up in the trash!!! , so I’m hoping there will be a collector who will want and love them as much as I have. This girl is just lovely…… 1956 SLW wearing her blue formal gown, in blue striped taffeta with amazing sleeves, and featuring stylish layering and a huge bow and “train” in back. She is wearing black shoes, and unusual black straw hat trimmed with fruit and flowers. Black loop earrings studded with “diamonds” – but what really stands out with this doll is the incredible and unique hair-do. It’s a special hairdo that is up-swept with curls on each side of her face and forehead. Check out her hairstyle from the back….. Every hair in place. Particularly, this girls hairdo is in original and beautiful condition. Doll stand comes with the doll. Lots of hugs, Lorraine. It is the East, and Juliet is the Sun… ” Juliet is dressed in a full reproduction costume inspired by the United Artists production of “Romeo and Juliet (1954-55). She is an 8in hard plastic, fully jointed straight leg walker with blue sleep eyes, a vibrantly colored face. Blonde hair with shaped curls at the nape of her neck that have been set in the now famous “Juliet” special hairdo from the 1955 film wearing a gold trimmed tiara. She is wearing an ivory satin brocade gown and overdress with garnet rose velvet accents and gold/silver metallic trim, small clear plastic flowerets around the shoulder and white panties underneath with metallic gold trimmed, tied slippers. She is in near mint condition and can be found on page 37 of Patricia R. She is a beauty and was never played with; she is from the original adult owner’s collection. She is a real beauty with bright and even coloration. The cheeks are nicely blushed. The unclouded bright blue eyes are easy open and close with intact eyelashes. The caracul hair is thick, full, and lovely. She is a drink and wet style baby doll. —Her eyes open and close easily. Her eyelids are a pretty light pink. Her eyebrows are unfaded and distinct. Her lips are unfaded, bright, and full. Her arms are somewhat loosely strung, and they domewhat hold a pose. She walks perfectly and beautifully. The elastic bands in her arms were remmoved, and they were replaced with new elastic cording. Her arms now pose beautifully. –This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. She is wearing a bright, off-white, stunning, very clean original tagged Alexander kins dress and a bonnet. Her bonnet has intact ribbon ties with some minor fraying at the ends. Both of her dresses enjoy well attached snap buttons. She also has her original clean bright white panties with stretchy elastic. Her pretty and displayable under slip dress appears factory fresh, or close to it, just like her christening gown. The under slip dress is pink snd makes her top gown appear light pink. She only has one sock. —You can see that the pink ribbons on her gown and bonnet are stunning and incredible additions. Her dress and outfit is free of issues, holes, or blemishes. She enjoys easy open and close bright stunning eyes, mostly unfaded eyebrows, and high colored lips and cheeks. She is listed, as found, in a very displayable condition. She was a walker, but the walking mechanism no longer functions as it did originally. Her head and legs are well attached. Her arms are well connected, but perhaps she will need restringing someday. —Her molded eyelashes are intact and lovely. She does not hold a pose with her arms. She cannot stand without a doll stand. She is tagged Alexander-kins Meg. Her slip, dress, pinafore, bloomers, socks, and shoes are all clean, displayable and enjoy well attached buttons and stretchy elastic on the waist.
