It’s the only one of it’s kind. Madeline doll in her own trunk with a custom wardrobe. Year was 1952 and the clothes were made by the seamstress at my grandmother’s store (Richs in Atlanta). She is fully jointed… She is 16 high. Sadly the clothes over all these many years have signs of damage. I do not know what it is but it looks like rust. Perhaps a dry cleaner would know what to do here. It was always sealed in the trunk so it’s a mystery. Many little accessories including belts and shoes and nylons and even little box of curlers circa 1952. Also purses and wraps and even a fur coat. This doll is very hard to find! Her hair is in perfect condition as shown. I will not be including the trunk because it is very heavy and in bad condition.
