Madame Alexander Dolls

BE STILL MY HEART! This is a beautiful platinum blonde Madame Alexander Kathy doll with the Maggie face. She has the deep suntan skin tone and such a wistful expression on her pretty face as she dreams of a forever home for Christmas! Kathy was made for only a short while in the very early 50s. She wears her original color block dress and one-piece panties and half slip with eyelet lace trim and ribbon bows at the leg openings. On her feet are rayon socks and black oilcloth center snap shoes. She is missing her black velvet beret. Kathy’s braids aren’t quite perfect and look like they’d been taken out over the years. We’ve replaced the rotted rubber bands with modern silicone bands. She still has her originally rubber band holding her together, so her stringing isn’t super tight, but it’s tight enough to hold a pose. She does have some play wear and a bit of play soil here and there, including a few tiny spots on her dress (see picture). The soles of her shoes also have some damage, with a crack running through one and the toe of the other sole missing (see last picture of Kathy sitting). Overall, Kathy is a beautiful, hard to find, early strung Maggie-faced doll. Won’t you give her a home to call her own this Christmas? Up for sale is this 18 vintage Madame Alexander Blue Danube from the Glamour Girl series. Her tagged gown is unwashed with bright vivid coloring. Her original lace Bonnet is still a lovely white, with black velvet ribbon and trimmed with lovely pink roses. She wears her original white gloves and has her black and gold Madame Alexander Hat box, both in excellent condition. Her curls are shiny, tight and still in original set. Her coloring is very nice, her eyes are beautiful, with THICK and long lashes. However, her eyes stick sometimes and don’t always close easily when she lays down. It may be an easy fix, however I l will leave that to her new owner to decide what they want to do, or not do about that. Her hoop-slip and attached panties are white, and appear to have been washed. Her original netting stockings and black shoes look very nice too. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home. Up for sale is this MINT IN BOX 14 vintage Madame Alexander. Kate Smith’s Annabelle with wrist tag. This doll is simply adorable! Her blonde hair is shiny, smooth and in original set– with the sides pulled up with a hair bar and large original aqua colored bow sitting on top. Her little Maggie face and coloring are fantastic. She wears a crisply tagged BRIGHT white dress with Peter Pan collar and white ric-rac trim. Her original, bright “Annabelle” sweater is in lovely condition as well, and closes in the back with square snaps. Her slip, panties and socks are still white as well. Her black, side-snap patented leather shoes are so cute with still very fuzzy soles. Her box is still in decent shape. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home.
