Hard plastic bent knee walker doll, original tagged outfit. The shoe soles do not match. Some discolortion to the apron and slip. The stringing is a bit loose. This is the darling HTF “Parlour Maid” #579 from 1956. You can see a picture of her in P. Smith’s book “The World of Alexander-kins” on page 83. This is a gorgeous bend-knee walker with bright all original facial coloring and a beautiful triple stitch auburn wig. The precious outfit consists of the tagged black taffeta dress with organdy apron and “doily” style headpiece. All are in very good condition with no stains, holes, or other problems. Under the dress she wears a very nice organdy slip with good original elastic, and matching organdy panties that are also in perfect shape. Her socks and fuzzy bottom shoes are also in excellent condition. Her outfit is completed with the original dust mop that is secured to her hand with the correct pink covered wire. All together this is an excellent example of the HTF doll that will be sure to stand out in your collection. Please take a look at all my other Alexander items listed this week. Thanks and Good Luck!
