Here is a very pretty 17 inch Margaret O’brien. She has all hair and eyelashes and her eyes will open and close as they should. She is all original except her panties. She has very light crazing all over. There is a little dent or a scuff at the tip of her nose. She has a tiny crack on her left hand that starts at her thumb and goes to almost all of her fingers. This is the only crack that I see on her. Her pinafore has a large hole in front. The tag on her dress is very faded and not legible. Both socks have small holes in them. Her shoes look worn on the soles. Her panties are sewed together at the waist by a previous owner so they dont come down. The edge of her hat has a little straw missing in 2 places. Her right pinky finger has some soil on it. This may be some glue residue of some sort. There could possibly be a repair there but its hard to tell for sure. We are a smoke free home. Up for your consideration is a 14 Madame Alexander Amy doll from the Little Women Series. I believe she has the rare Margaret face. She has a wig cap for hair that is in good shape. Also, she has sleep eyes that open and close freely. She has high and clear coloring. All fingers and toes are accounted for. She is hard plastic. Her dress and shoes are not original to her, however her under garments are. They are all in good shape. A beautiful doll for, your collection! Doll stand not included. Margaret was a child actress popular in the 1940s. It was said that she could cry on demand. She’s got a sweet little face… A more matted paint than some. I place this doll from 1946-47. She displays well, but has some imperfections. Tiny missing loss of lip paint, easily touched up; faint white mark or loss of blush on cheeks; chipped right index finger; some crazing and color mottling to arms and legs; faint soil marks here and there to the dress (but it’s crisp and un-laundered); holes throughout the lace on bottom edge of dress (they are uniformly positioned, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be there). I can fix some of these issues if you want. Just let me know. I matched the shoe laces since I took the photo here. Ask me any questions you’d like. I have displayed her away from direct sunlight and she comes from a smoke-free home. This poor girl has had so many non payers… She’s starting to get an insecurity complex! Here is a very pretty vintage 20 Madame. She has a mohair. All hair is present. She may be missing. An eyelash or two on her left eye but its hard. To tell for sure. Her eyes will open and close. Her composition is pretty. Clean but it is very faded. Back are closer to her original color. Her stringing is very good. She has light crazing all over. There are no cracks around her head. Tiny crack left shoulder, one on left breast. One in crotch, one on her butt, and. Inside both of her thighs all the way at the top. The very tip of her right big toe is chipped. Believe that her dress is original but the. Rest of her clothes are not. It doesnt match the dress so I dont know. Pinafore has a few tiny holes in front. A gorgeous doll that is so very hard to find, especially in this nice condition! Bright rosy cheeks and red lips, no rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Ash blonde wig factory styled in 2 side buns. The body is strung just right so she is easy to pose, no unwanted hard plastic odors. Fabulous tagged gown that has a very faded gold mark, as pictured, on the right front pleating that is almost impossible to see as the fabric has an iridescence glow. She has a mohair ash blond wig that is mostly in original set. With a few curls that could be re-arranged. She has painted brows, smoky eye shadow, and clear blue eyes. All of her eyelashes are thick and present…. She has coral colored lipstick. The doll is tagged Margaret Rose, although in tact, It is worn. The dress is just beautiful so full and just like new. Great elastic in the sleeves and all the lace is present. She has yellow satin panties and attached yellow matching scalloped edge slip. She wears rayon thigh high stockings. Black shiny shoes with bows on the toes that look to be in perfect condition. Soles, snaps and heels all good. Her Original hat is lovely. Ties under the chin with yellow ribbon that matches. The ribbon trim on the hat and waist. The hat, waist trim and flower at the hem are all original flowers. She is in great condition for her age. No smells are marks or stains. I can’t see any crazing on her face, arms or legs. I planned to keep her and now because of medical bills having to part with her. She will be insured and signature required when received.
