Madame Alexander Dolls

Offered here is a brand new, never removed from box, Madame Alexander 8 Wendy doll, style number 73330, called Mary Jane. She is the souvenir doll of the 2019 Madame Alexander Doll Club Convention, held this past June 26-29, 2019 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her COA reads 9 of 154. The Convention theme was A Walk in the Garden. All the dolls reflected the theme, and Mary Jane is adorable in her mint green dress. Mary Jane has brunette hair done in smooth bangs and shoulder length curls. I have not removed the doll from the box, so I don’t know the exact style. I did not remove the hairnet, I only pulled it back for the pictures. The doll has dark eyes, red lips and high cheek color. Her costume is a soft green dress with a white Peter Pan collar and short sleeves. The bottom of her dress is embroidered with pretty flowers in shades of pink and yellow with darker green leaves. She is wearing pearlized green shoes, and white socks and white panties, and there is a cute little white straw hat with applied flowers of pink and yellow and a yellow velvet ribbon. There is an elastic band to hold the hat on the doll’s head. Please note: her box got a bit crunched at the edges on the journey home. Her box is not flawed, and will still function as a box, but it is not pristine. Hopefully, you collect dolls, not boxes, and this will make no difference. Up for sale is this GORGEOUS and VERY RARE 18 Mary Louise doll from the Me and My Shadow series from 1954, EXTREMELY RARE Yellow gloves. She is a very hard doll to find, but much, much more rare is to find her with her Yellow striped “kid gloves”. She is a beautiful doll with a Cissy face, and amazing golden yellow braids that are pinned up with shiny perfect curls at each cheek. Her eyes are a lovely blue, she has full eyelashes, lovely eye shadow, two stroke brows and pink lips. Her blush is pretty too, though she does have what looks like a tiny rub on her left cheek. She is wearing her original full-skirted burnt orange taffeta dress with crisp tag, black trim at neckline, bust and at her wrists. Her original olive green wool Jacket and hat with cream trim, rickrack and adorned with a few tiny metal flowers at the small of her back and on top of her head, are in excellent condition as well. No moth holes in the wool that I can see. Her hat is kept on her head by a lovely mustard yellow velvet ribbon nicely and are in excellent condition as well. Her light cream taffeta underskirt/hoop-slip is still crisp, as are her pantaloons. Her black velvet shoes are in excellent condition with fuzzy soles. She also has her black and gold hatbox in lovely condition. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home.
