Gorgeous 1950 hard plastic, tagged Mme. Alexander 18 CINDERELLA doll Needs TLC. This doll is beautiful, but needs some help. She is in the same condition in which I found her, and I have not attempted to clean either the dress or doll. Her satin dress has holes in a couple of places and needs washing. Her dress is edged in gold and has little stars on it. It has a peplum and a very full skirt. She wears tights and her original shoes. Her skin is smooth and she has no scratches. I believe her wig is original. Part of her hair in her back has come loose from her wig. Her eyes are clear and open and close easily. She comes from a non-smoking home and has no odors. Beautiful Cissy in her undies ready to dress… I try to note everything – all positives and negatives – so you can make an informed purchasing decision. I know you cannot examine her for yourself, and while I do not claim to be an expert, I will carefully note everything to the best of my knowledge and ability. I believe this doll is what is known as an infused Cissy which prevents her vinyl from losing color over time. Her body coloring is very fresh and healthy all over. The photos washed out how fresh and peachy she is. I do not know for certain if she is infused, that is just my best guess due to how beautiful her coloring is all over. Take this with a grain if salt, and if you know more in this area, please see the photos and examine her carefully. Beautiful clear eyes, open and close easily. They need to be replaced. I just dont have time. No cracks, splits, discoloration, mold, mildew, odors, etc. Her tagged chemise is in wonderful crispy condition. Her nylons have aged a little and have a small hole near the top of one. Her pretty shoes shoes are in great condition but the elastic has stretched some. Her golden Saran wig is in close to its original set. I believe that is a replaced hair ribbon. This is a beautiful doll in beautiful overall condition! With some new lashes, shell be perfect! She is a vintage 18 Madame Alexander Sonja Henie doll – jointed at neck, arms and legs, having clear sleep. Eyes with all lashes present, very nice blonde mohair wig with lots of curls. Clothing is vintage but not original, includes. Sturdy cotton dress with row of buttons in back, blue taffeta panties, no petticoat. Socks and side snap shoes are. Vintage – shoes are in rough condition with outer soles missing on both. She needs some TLC, but is well worth your effort. She has faint craze lines across face, and few. White spots on body.
