This is an 18 Madame Alexander Sonja Henie doll from the 1930s She’s made of composition and comes wearing her original tagged red velvet Olympic gold outfit, which is complete with dress, undies, skates and hair ribbon The skates are missing their blades and show wear and there are some sequins missing from her dress but overall her outfit is in very nice condition with no major issues like rips, tears, etc. The elastic is stretched on the undies and they’ve been pinned to stay up Sonja’s composition is in excellent condition with only a few small craze lines and no deep cracks, lifting or peeling; it appears to have been professionally sealed at some point to prevent crazing Sonja’s eyes are clear, her stringing is tight, and she’s not missing any eyelashes or hair A beautiful doll and the stand is included for display. 1950 Madame Alexander 21 inch Margaret Face Babs Barbra Ann Scott Skater Doll. She is marked Alexander on the back of her head under wig. She also has original hang tag. She is in near mint condition. She has the gorgeous Margaret face with a blonde wig, blue glass eyes with full upper , a closed mouth, and blushing cheeks. Her facial coloring is excellent! She is jointed at neck, shoulder, and hip. The stringing is slightly loose… But she can still hold a pose. There are no cracks or split seams and all of her fingers and toes are intact. She wears her original tagged babs skating pink satin dress which has flowers at the waist, gold braided trim at neckline and fur trim at arm holes and hem. She also has her matching fur trimmed hat with flowers. A one piece pink nylon petticoat and gold ice skates. The outfit is in near mint condition….. The only flawsI see is the gold foil is peeling on parts of her ice skates and slight aging of her dress color. The dress is not stained or faded just normal aging! Please see all pictures! She also has her original pink satin shoes. We are the original owners… And bought the doll new. It was only displayed for a short time and has remained packed in an inside closet…. 0ur home is smoke free and clean!
