This listing is for a beautiful 21 Composition Madame Alexander Margaret O Brien Doll She retains an amazing finish on her compo face- with the original paint finish and clear hazel eyes. Her dress, apron, and under garments are totally original. She is missing her straw hat, shoes and socks. She comes with vintage white plastic shoes for now. Note: she has polished finger and toe nails, but the color is not garish, and could be easily removed with nail polish remover and a Qtip. This stunning vintage tagged Alexander Cissy dress is the very rare lavender model of the dress pictured in Kiley Shaws wonderful Cissy book, on page 60. This dress has very pale polka dots which do show up more pronounced in my picture than they do on the actual dress. The lavender is very soft, when I put it next to a pink dress you can see its evenly pale lavender all over. When I put it next to Elise little purple hat, you can still see its pale lavender. You can see in my picture of the slip that the dress is a lavender next to the quite pink slip, so I do not believe this dress to be a pink faded, I believe this dress to be what I have presented it as. You will need to make up your own mind on that of course. It ties in back with a wide soft bow of the same material, and does up in back with 4 square snaps. No rips, holes or tears in this dress, and I have not washed it. Im fairly certain it would have been gently laundered at some stage in. Its 65 year life, its hard to tell because the tag colour still looks clean and clearly read. Sleeve elastic still holds firm, Im not sure if this has been replaced at some stage, if so its been very well done. At some stage, the petticoat has had extra elastic cord added to tighten a loose waist line. And ask questions if I have left out something important to you. Set of Madame Alexander Dionne quintuplets complete with nurse and furniture. Identifying mark – raised lettering that reads: Alexander. Complete with painted white furniture. Crib, playpen, highchair, low potty-chair, and a scooter. 13 Composition nurse with no identifying to labels or marking. Has very sparse light blonde human hair wig, glued to head. Head has very light crazing and has three relatively large cracks and one small crack around eyeholes. Green sleep eyes (tin), with one eye opening with sparse lash, the other good. Body in relatively good condition with some crazing, thumb paint chipped and feet with damaged toe areas. Appears to be wearing cotton nurse outfit and hat. (#1) Quintuplet – Composition bent limb baby, with molded painted hair. One eye has paint loss and head has very light crazing overall. Body is good but needs restrung. Wearing original cotton taffeta short dress, bib that reads embroidered in pink Emelie. Complete with slip and original diaper, missing bonnet. (#2) Quintuplet – body in good condition, except face has major crack through center. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, booties, and bonnet. (#3) Quintuplet- in overall good condition except right arm, shoulder has small crack through paint. Wearing original bonnet, dress (no slip), diaper, booties, bonnet, and bib embroidered Annette. (#4) Quintuplet – Composition in good condition except for toe rub. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, bonnet, booties, and embroidered bib with Cecilia. (#5) Quintuplet – Composition bent limb baby in relatively good condition, except for small crack under nose and two cracks extending through center of lips. Also, cheek area with paint loss. NRFB Vintage 1996 Ltd Ed Alexander Couture 21 CISSY PARIS Doll Orig Box COA. Rare vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll new in her box with Certificate of Authenticity. “Cissy Paris” #22300 She is 21 inches tall. Her COA says she is 0333 out of 1500 dolls made. Very good, unplayed with condition. Her accessories and COA are still sealed in the original plastic. Her box shows wear on the outside only. The inside is clean. This sweet doll is a Texas Hurricane Harvey survivor! She came to me in her original outfit, with her original dress and panties, hat and socks and shoes. Her original shoes were very worn and in poor condition so I have replaced them with new pink side snap shoes. I have also added a pink satin ribbon at her waist to match her outfit. This is a gorgeous RARE brunette Big Binnie Winnie Walker by Madame Alexander, in her original outfit. Her cotton panties are full at the hip and snap at the waist, and have gathered ruffles at the leg; her cotton slip is a dress slip, full length under her dress and has lovely lace trim. NOTE: When I got her, her hat had many small moth holes in it from being in her prior owner’s storage. I turned her hat inside out, as the pink had faded; and carefully hand-stitched vintage velvet fabric flowers to her hat — everywhere she had a moth hole. This is her original hat from the Madame Alexander outfit, with its original black fabric ties; but I simply added very vintage cotton and velvet forget me not and other flowers to it to match her dress. See photos for how it looks now. I think it turned out quite nice. This doll has a gorgeous face, with her original dark brunette wig, with curls in their original set under her bonnet or hat. She has big blue green eyes, red lips, rosy cheeks and a sweet upturned nose. Her coloring is quite even, with exception of her right arm which is slightly lighter in color than her left. It is not obvious though as you can see in the photos. I have added black fingerless, hand crocheted gloves to her outfit; these gloves were made for me in Canada by a very talented seamstress. They fasten at the wrist with tiny pearls and fit her perfectly. This is a very old “Walker Doll” but her walker mechanism works just fine; when you move her legs her head turns from side to side. No props in the photos are included; the doll stand is not included. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE.
